Having won 4 of their last 5 the Pats are showing signs of hope for a strong defense of their crown. Brady looked as sharp as he has all season. The return of Dillon & Faulk is a big factor in this late season push towards another playoff run. Granted this latest win was over the Bills, but they're no slouch in Buffalo. If the Pats pass rush continues to get consistent pressure on the opposing QB they could get away with a depleted secondary. Probably the most over looked factor in their win on Sunday was their run defense. By shutting down McGahee, the DL had Losman on his heals for most of the game.

I was thinking of writing this same thing on my way into work this morning. While everyone is looking away from them, don't forget they'll be in the playoffs and be dangerous yet.

Hey I hope we are sneaking up but I still have zero confidence in this Defense going into Indy and shutting down the colts or even going into Cincy...did I just write that?...and shutting down Palmer and company. I still think our defense has alot to prove though the play of Rosevelt Colvin and the LB's as a core as of late has been encouraging since we are finally starting to create a real pass rush and instead of hanging our DB's out to dry.

Having Kevin Faulk back is HUGE though IMO. He is one of the keys to our ability to score at the end of a half or game which we have been horrid at this season. He took over at the end of the second half on sunday and was a big reason (4 rec 41 yards on the drive) we were in postion to score but Brady turned the ball over on a bad decision.

I'm looking forward to this saturday's game against the bucs. It will be a good test.

Tom Brady IS 10-0 in the show you know. And since it snows alot in this time of the year, he'll feel just like home, in Foxborough.

They will not. They have lost to enough good teams this season for me to believe that they will lose the first playoff game they play.

Yeah when they were all sitting on the injured list. In New England in December is one of the hardest environment there is to win in. Much like Green Bay the Patriots play great in the cold. With a healthy Dillon and Seymour I think New England will beat whatever wild card team they're dealt. Jacksonville probably being the best bet right now. I don't see them going to Cincy, Denver, or Indy and winning though. They'll lose in round 2.

At least we have played enough good teams..All we have to do is get in and you never know..we are 9-0 with Brady/Bellichick in the playoffs so we are hardly a lock to lose are first playoff game.

We'd probably have to go to Indy for the divisional round. I think we'd have a realistic chance against anybody but them.

I don't think anybody will beat Indy in the playoffs, the Bengals are the only ones I think will come close just because their Super offense will keep them in the game till the end.

I know the pats have had a weak defence, but no one has beaten the pats twice in a season. I think if the pats meet Indy in the play-offs that the pats will beat them. I think that peyton is dan marino, all the stats but no ring. and brady is like montana with lots of rings. i think everyone is going to under estimate the pats like they have in the past and they will prove you wrong. the defence is starting to jell a little bit, it should be interesting, i wouldn't count the pats out of anything yet.

Boy the Pats looked amazing today... Brady played great. Dillion back gives them a boost and their defense played so much better... I think it may come down to Pats vs Colts again in the playoffs..

I said it in the beginning and i'll say it now. Patriots are winning the superbowl. It's the presence of a good coach and a very well trained QB, plus Bruschi's back and the run game is picking up.

    Patriots v. Panthers

pats are on fire and there is a chink in indy's armor. anything could happen, but i think if the pats played indy today the pats would beat them with ease.

While Saturday's win was impressive I'm not ready to say we're fully back. I mean our D has feasted on some pretty inexperienced QBs over the last 3 games in Bollinger, Losman & Simms. However we have clinched our 3rd straight division title & with no chance of moving up or down from the #4 spot we can rest our players.
