Foye was virtually unstoppable, showing "star-like quality" according to ESPN.com's Brian Windhorst and getting to the hole whenever he wanted.
It is a summer league award, nothing to jump for joy for. However its better than being awarded with the worst player or not even being noticed in the league at all.

I don't know. I think Roy put up more impressive numbers (you have to adjust for minutes played). Also, in the one game they started Roy at SG, he scored 35 points. In all the other games, he was the PG. I will say that Foye performed far better than I expected. I didn't think he'd be a ROY candidate, but it looks like I was probably wrong.

^^I was thinking the same thing, but from what i heard, Foye was dominant, and scored at will whenever he wanted especially in the fourth quarter. Plus i think the wolves did better than portland didnt they?
