We feel he?s still an emerging player in the NBA. He?ll add to the youth and overall skill level of our backcourt, and I?m really looking forward to watching him play for the Kings.? </div> Source
Bonzi probably fits better though, if he would have played like he did in the playoffs. I guess they aren't getting him back.
Everytime Iverson didn't play, Salmons came in & did a great job. Watch out for this team! Artest made sure that everyone stepped it up when he came aboard. BUT, very stupid move to fire the coach, Aldeman (sp?) They have a SG who has a awsome game, his playing was nill this past season. I believe his last name is Nelson? NOt sure, will find out. Bonzi will be getting a fat contract after how well he did last season, he was S I C K in the PO's!!!!!! I use to have a SIC pic of him almost touching his head on the rim. His vert is in the mid's 40's
we (kings) offered him the most money, around 7mil a year for like 5years, roughly $35-37mil total on the offer sheet. his agent wanted more money, but no other team that wants him can pay that much, (like denver, indiana, and detroit) with this signing, bonzi will not return and everyone is saying that his agent skrewed him over so the most he will get is the MLE for like 3years max.

My only question though, is he worth the contract?
