Ugh, he wasn't going to participate in the summer this year anyways. I'm not sure for the reason, but he already said before the summer that he wouldn't be able to participate. This doesn't mean he's got from the 2008 team, those are still yet to be determined, as this is a 3 year commitment plan. Billups withdrew a while ago because he made a commitment to his wife that he will spend time with the family and be with her when she gives birth. He was at the camp like many players who aren't participating such as Redick, Redd and Oden. They are still on the roster for the 3 year thing but not playing in the World Championships next month.
oh ok, that makes sense. my bad. he probably wouldve made the team if it wasnt for his family reasons. gotta respect his decision though.
