You can't teach vertical leap. You also can't teach toughness, which is a shame, because Air Canada wound up choosing his diploma over preparing for a playoff Game 7. After missing that particular game-winner, he went on to waste his considerable skills for two seasons and forced a trade by playing with less heart than Eddy Curry</div>

    Pretty harsh.

How does Isiah being a bad front office person make him a bad teammate. That just took away all credability from this article.

Pretty harsh indeed. He isn't to fault but someone has to catch the heat...especially for missing buzzer beaters. Look at Kobe.

lol, why would they use that graduation example, that's gotta be the stupidest critic of Carter people have. Yes, it bet it was going to the graduation that made Carter miss that shot and the Raptors lose by like one point, please, what a joke.

A better reason for Carter should have been when he supposedly told the other team the play that they were going to run or something like that.

Superstars shine when the spotlight's the brightest, which is exactly why Pipp was MJ's sidekick. When he had the team to himself for a year, the Big Migraine pouted his way onto the bench in the closing seconds of a playoff game because the play wasn't drawn up for him. Luckily, Toni Kukoc made the game-winner and everyone will remember Pippen the way he should be remembered: for his Mt. Everest–size nose. </div>

It says Scottie Pippen was a bad teammate? Since when was he like that?

The fact that this is coming from Maxim already makes it unworthy.

How in the world does Isiah being a bad executive make him a bad teammate. Definitely a retarded article, especially considering Isiah was one of the best point guards to ever play the game of basketball.

C'mon barry sanders? Who was he suposed to return for? He was the only talent on the team and the lions refused to spend money on more talent. Seeing that they were pulling in money hand over foot because of barry, you would think they wouldve got atleast some decent linemen for him.

    This article is B.S.

Yea, I have my problems with VC. But, he's not a bad teammate. When he actually plays for your team, he's enthusiastic and focused on winning.

And the graduation example was horrible. Stick to showing me ridiculously hot women, Maxim.

Actually drew the defense and kicked it to Bonner for a three or long two, can't remember exactly, so that's not a good reason either. An actual reason could be him playing crappy his last season as a Raptor, the other ones are just stupid.

Either way, Vince isn't considered a "bad" teammate by those he plays with, except Rafer, but how many of Rafer's Raptor teammates actually like him, so...

I always that the criticism Vince Carter got for getting his diploma was stupid. He knows what he needs to do to prepare for a game better than the media.
