The 92 Dream Teams talent is so much better you can't make a comparison. Its crap. (no offense)

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Franchise4Ever:</div><div class="quote_post">I know they aren't equal, what I meant with the Jordan = Wade was the = stands for similar.

Truth be told they aren't even similar and Gilbert the triple double king of the NBA? Was this guy in lala land when studying Gilbert and Dwayne?? The other 3 are pretty good though. I can see the similarities somewhat but not the "Triple double king" [IMG]

Dwayne Wade's game is similar to Jordan's. More so than anyone else on the team.

The clyde drexler-arenas comparison is really off. Dwight and chuck i dont see it, charles was really undersized at the 4 and dwight is near 7 feet. Besides the 06 team not even being remotely as talented as the '92 one.

The '92 lineup was sick man...There is no way we can lose with that '92 lineup. By the way, who was the starting five of that '92 team? I suppose
    PG: Magic Johnson
    SG: Michael Jordan
    SF: Larry Bird
    PF: Karl Malone
    C: David Robinson

    ????

'06 team somewhat similar to '92 IF Kobe is playing of course. Lebron = Magic is the closest comparison.

Specifically, I think he resembles a late-80s era Jordan more than any player in the league. Physically, he's very quick, has long arms, dunks often. He has a great mid-range game, and has a knack for carving into defenses and getting to the basket. Comparable rebounder. Comparable passer. Defensively, he has good anticipation and quickness, gets a good amount of steals and blocks for a 2-guard (not as many steals as Jordan got, of course). His man-defense is clearly not as good, but it's pretty good for a young player who's asked to do so much on the offensive end.

I think his mentality matches with a young Jordan as well. A supreme, quiet confidence (Jordan didn't become a really vocal leader until the 90s).

Also, Wade dominated the NBA Finals (not to mention the conference finals) like no other 2-guard ever has, outside of Jordan.

Honestly, how do you NOT see the similarities?

The Bosh comparison is pretty bad. First of all, CB4 is a forward, not a center. He spent time there last year to fill in for a lack of depth, but it's not his natural position. And Bosh is not that great of a defender. As for this comment:
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">He is the odds on favorite to lead the Olympic Games in blocked shots. </div>

I just have to shake my head.

Imo, Kobe is more like Jordan than Wade (expect the 3-point shooting), but still : Fadeaways, amazing clutch players, can get to the rim easily, shoots very good from anywere on the floor, can post other guards)

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TheFreshPrince:</div><div class="quote_post">How is Arenas the triple double king? I dont like the clyde comparision either</div>

Yeah, I found that comparison very odd. Arenas is the guy that could do a little everything on the court, but most noticeably, his scoring.

Huh? Since when was Arenas the triple double king? Kidd had 8, James had 6, Arenas didn't even have 1. [IMG]

Clyde Drexler G (Portland Trail Blazers)
    2006 clone: Gilbert Arenas
?Clyde the Glide? could practically float around the basketball court. He did a little bit of everything, including his signature high-flying dunks. Arenas has become the NBA?s triple-double king, plays great ?D? and can soar to new heights like his counterpart Drexler. Much like Clyde, the U.S. team will count on Arenas to defend on the perimeter and break out on the fast-break.

    </div>

Arenas? NBA's triple double king? Check the stats, last season he had a big fat <font color=""Red"">ZERO</font> across the triple double stat. If there is anyone who should be called Triple Double King, it's Jason Kidd, he led the league with 8.
