I’m not really sure who he might be interested in. Paxson is not a stupid general manager by any means, he won’t overpay for above average big men (Drew Gooden). I think he will eventually end up signing a big man off our summer league roster Drago being the leading candidate. We really won’t know for a while though. Edit: I was just thinking about this Lorenzo Wright might be another guy we go after...
well yall all know who i want. . I think Paxson was really really disappointed n our froncourt. I think everybody is going to be gone from our frontcourt lol. Tyson Chandler, Othella Harrington, Darius Songaila next it might be Michael Sweetney, Malik Allen, and Luke. I wouldnt blame him. The only reason we went to the play-off was because of our backcourt and our frontcourt was the reason we lost a lot of our games with the silly fouls (usually one of our bigs fouled someone n the 1st minute of the game ), illegal 3 secs all the time, rarely scored, bad free throw shooting.
Isn't Reggie Evans still on the market? I haven't heard any team being very interested in him yet. The guy is a defensive force that rebounds and hustles. A duo of Wallace and Evans would be deadly on defense, but would provide a huge offensive liability IMO.

I mean Paxson was going to keep Eddy Curry if he didnt have a heart problem and u never heard Paxson say eny thing about how keeping these 6 guys: Kirk Hinrich, Ben Gordon, Luol Deng, Andres Nocioni, Tyson Chandler, Eddy Curry would be a problem so how is these 6 guys: Kirk Hinrich, Ben Gordon, Luol Deng, Andres Nocioni, Nene, and Ben Wallace b a problem. I really do not get this cap stuff of not being able to sign players.

All the players you mentioned (with the exception of Nocioni) will probably demand about 50 million dollars (or more) when they become free agents. There is no way we can afford to have two guys making 60 million dollars on the roster, and then go and sign four or five more players to 50 million dollar contract. There is a reason why Chandler was traded immediately after we acquired Wallace. We need that cap room to maintain flexibility to resign our own free agents as well as big mans in the 07? free agency class. Right now we have one of the lowest pay rolls in the league, because most of the guys are on their rookie contracts when they come up for extensions we are going to have to make some tough choices.

How will they do it? Shawn Marion, Steve Nash, Amare Stoudamire, and then they have Boris Diaw and Leandro Barbosa to pay.

I dont see a bigman available. unless there is a bigman we can trade for who has only 1 year on his deal left. the need for a banger isnt needed the pistons never had a "banger" even on their 80's chip squads. Lambeir was a shooter and James edward averaged about 13 points a game during their championships seasons. Im sure brown can give 10 points per game.

Barbosa will probably not command much money when he becomes a free agent, but if Diaw continues to play as he is now he will probably be in high demand. It will come down to a choice between him and Marion.
