One thing they are my second favorite team, so that would be nice, and the bulls could offer some great young pieces
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Best Kept Secret:</div><div class="quote_post">They can't that is why you have heard all the rumors about Shawn Marion...</div>This is where I believe you are wrong BKS. You can be as far over the cap as you want...you just have to pay luxury taxes once you go over the cap. However, once we go over the cap, we can't sign FAs that aren't from our team. On the other hand, since we own the rights to players like Gordon, Deng, etc., we can sign them to long term extensions and go over the cap in the process, as long as they were under contract with us to begin with. But, as I said earlier, we'd have to pay luxury tax like no other other. However, if we're willing to do that, keeping them won't be too much of a problem.

He is a hands off owner but when that much money is coming out of his pocket, I don?t know. Chicago is a big market though so even being over the cap we could bring in free agents annually with the MLE and a promise to play for a winning team.
I think, if Reisendorf sees a potential winner in the Bulls (which he should), he'd open his pockets. As long as the club is winning, I don't think he'd mind it. I could be wrong though.
If he was going to give both Eddy Curry and Tyson Chandler 63 million, before Curry had the heart thing, when we were probably another 3-4 years away then now that we have Ben Wallace which i feel we r capable of being better than Miami and Cleveland without the post-player. Then think about it when we do get a post-player. b4 i start getting we r not capable of being better than Miami hear me out. Miami really only has 2 good players and that is D-Wade and Shaq. D-Wade really has trouble against us but everyone says he plays bad n his hometown. Thats not it. Someone is actually playing D on him (Kirk Hinrich) which causes him to not be able to get easy shots. Now that Paxson added Thabo he will be guarding him which will be a lot tuffer on him. First, Thabo is taller and can play D and then we have Ben Wallace so n case hes about to do a layup or dunk Ben Wallace (the intimidator) is their for the block. Like i said Ben Wallace is their and also he will be more focused on Ben Wallace blocking his shot than hitting the layup and possibly missing the shot. Now all D-Wade can do is go to the free throw line. The next thing is Shaq. Well since no one can guard him then just let him get his shots and just hope Ben Wallace will make it difficult on him which i know Ben Wallace will do. Look at the rest of the team James Posey, Antoine Walker, Jason Williams, Udonis Haslem. Wow just Wow. u know my motto Nene > Curry Wallace > Chandler

Wow just Wow. u know my motto Nene > Curry Wallace > Chandler</div> As I have said before on this board the need for a post scorer on our team although present is entirely overrated we are a better team then Miami even without a dominant post scorer. Also people act like we will struggle to score points when the truth of the matter is we averaged about 96 points a game last season which is around the middle of the pack when compared to other NBA teams. Further, more although we have no overwhelming offensive option down low the ones we have together more than get the job done. PJ Brown will give you about ten a night from the power forward spot, Sweetney off the bench can give you around 8-12, and Wallace can give you 6-10 we don?t really need anyone in our front court to go out and score 20 points a night, we simply need a solid contribution from everyone. Now with all that said even if we were in dire need of an offensive threat down low Nene at 60 million would not be a good choice. As I said before Nene has played less than 60 games over the last two years. What makes you think he can stay healthy? I am not ready to make a commitment of that size to a player who is made of glass.
