<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">WHAT IF... Allen Iverson is still here, still the captain of the 76ers, still the centerpiece of the franchise? That's the new plan, as stated yesterday by president and general manager Billy King. What if . . . King had been able to acquire the No. 7 overall pick from Boston on draft night and used it to choose Randy Foye? Then Iverson would be Celtic. We might never know whether that was really close to happening. What if... Chris Webber is still here, still hoping to have more of the offense run through him, still teaming with Iverson to form the highest-scoring duo in the NBA? What if... The additions of consequence to the roster are first-round pick Rodney Carney and second-round pick Bobby Jones? What if... The subtractions are merely Matt Barnes, Michael Bradley and John Salmons? What if... The $4.45 million trade exception the Sixers acquired when they sent Marc Jackson to New Jersey goes unspent? What if . . . The annual $5.2 million midlevel exception goes equally unspent? </div> link: http://www.philly.com/mld/dailynews/sports/15123727.htm
What if…. Next season we come in, and our young players actually perform up to their potential, and we become a playoff team? To me we are not as bad a team as people are making it seem. The more and more I have looked at it the past couple of days the more I realize this. Andre Iguodala needs to come in next season and actually look to score instead of getting his points when they come. He needs to be more aggressive on the offensive end of the court, because he has all the physical tools to succeed. Another huge part in our season next year will be what Dalembert is able to give us if he loses the attitude, and comes in ready to work we will be a above average squad.
if everyone realizes that the sixers only missed the playoffs by like one game or something and that they were the team to miss the playoffs with the best record or something the media should stop acting like theyre the knicks or something
