I looked through the 2005-2006 game log for Maurice Williams to look at some of his stats when TJ Ford was NOT in the lineup. Heres what I found:

    December 30th-30 points 6 rebounds 5 assists
    January 2nd- 13 points 4 rebounds 9 assists
    January 4th- 11 points 2 rebounds 9 assists
    January 6th-15 points 2 rebounds 8 assists
    January 20th-19 points 5 rebounds 4 assists
    January 21st-12 points 1 rebounds 9 assists
    February 28th- 15 points 2 rebounds 6 assists
    February 30th- 15 points 3 rebounds 8 assists
    Averages: 16.2 points 3.1 rebounds 7.25 assists

I understand that its a short sampling (8 games) of time, but I think it shows that Maurice Williams could do well when he takes over the starting reigns next season for Milwaukee. If he can continue at a pace like that, then I think it will make the Bucks miss TJ Ford that much less.

There's no question about how talented this kid is. He did ultimately make it possible for the Bucks to move TJ Ford around and get CV3.
