Without mentioning the obvious ones of winning games in the Philly series or winning against the Knicks..

    I would have to say:

    1. Carter knocking down a fadeaway game winning jumper at the buzzer against the Celtics in Boston

    2. Carter knocking ANOTHER 3 point buzzer beater against the Clippers a week later, along with an amazing alleyoop that defied gravity.

    3. Dell Curry knocking down that 3 pointer that eventually set up Vince's game 7 shot. The shot by Curry was brilliant IMO.

I have a bunch more but what about the rest of you guys?

That amazing winning streak during the 2003 season, where AD lead us into the playoffs without VC.

Those two buzzer beaters by Carter in a week were ridiculious

Our first game on National TV, February 2000? where we faced the Suns and Carter dropped 51. Good thing I recorded that game [IMG]

Our first NBA series even though we got swept and Carter stunk, it was still nice to watch. I'll never forget that T-Mac scored our first ever playoff FG and points, which was a dunk.

The Christmas game vs the Knicks on NBC. We won the game prior to that and Carter said he had something special for the Christmas game, and they turned out to be his new signatures Nike VC I's. I don't know why I remember that.

Beating the Bulls in our expansion year. That was truly unreal as that Bulls team were possibly the best team ever.

Yeah, that was something special. Too bad Chris Childs messed it all up.

The week following the Clippers game, he had a game winning dunk against the Rockets (where the Rockets commentator went nuts and stopped making sense lol), and the week following the Rockets game, Charles Oakley had a game winning shot against the Cavs (assisted by Vince).

I remember all of this clearly cause I used to record NBA Action Top 10 plays every week as a kid and Carter was in the top 5 for a stretch of almost 5 or 6 weeks, it was great.

Two plays stand out from that game...one where T-Mac lost the ball and it went up in the air and Vince jumped like 2 feet above the rim (and everyone else's outstretched hands) to throw it down...and that forced fadeaway jumper he knocked down in the 4th quarter to seal the game (I believe), followed by one of those crazy Vince "cocky look and swagger" struts afterwards as Doug slapped his hand. Loved it.

My favourite was when Raptors beat the Lakers, the 1st team from the Atlantic Division to ever beat the Lakers.

I'd have to say that bad losing streak and huge winning streak was my favourite Raptors memory.. Losing like 17 out of 18 i think and then winning 12 out of the last 14.. The 2001-2002 season.

I remember my heart being crushed for a few seconds after mj hit that shot at the end which would've won them the game.... luckly it left his hand only a fraction of a second after the buzzer went, so we still won the game. But oh man, it felt like we just won the championship when it finished [IMG]

My favourite moment? I don't know if this one counts b/c it's more of a Carter moment than a Raptor one, but anyways, it's the 2000 Slam Dunk contest. I would include it as a Raptor moment b/c he was wearing the jersey and representing the team and city.

But everything about that event was so memorable. The hype leading up to it, VC's first dunk (360 windmill) that had everyone jumping out of their seats, the arm through the rim, Stackhouse looking foolish going right after him, Kenny Smith's lines ("Let's go home, let's go home!!"), Payton and Shaq's reactions, heck even Michael Keaton's reaction, everything about it was memorable..... Carter was THE MAN at that moment and he was putting Toronto on the basketball map.

Too bad he had to screw us over later on, but for now I'll try to forget about it [IMG]

Actually, they were the first team from the Eastern conference to beat the Lakers at the Staples center. I remember that game as well, it was crazy.

The Raptors were in the central division before this current format came into play like 2 or so years ago (I believe), so they couldn't have been "the first team in the Atlantic division to ever beat the Lakers."

And I have to add that game against the defending champion Spurs when Carter scored a then-career high 39 (along with two nasty dunks) as they beat the Spurs at the ACC.

Finally, going back to Carter's rookie year, the game against the Pacers at the Skydome really stands out. It was because of that game especially that the city of Toronto REALLY began to notice Carter. Carter hit a clutch fadeaway over Chris Mullin (or Miller, don't remember) after almost losing the ball, and followed that up by jumping higher then the entire Pacers team to tip in a Charles Oakley miss in the clutch moments of the game. I'll never ever forget Carter's reaction after he tipped it in, he was HYPED beyond belief and the whole arena was going crazy. Mannnn...I miss those days...

Charlie V's 48 points. When I realized he had a chance to beat VC's rookie record, I was cheering for him to help erase some bad memories. We might have lost, but the amount of hype it generated was great.

Well he broke the team rookie record for points by a rookie, but didn't break the most points in a game, which is held by Carter with 51 in his sophmore season.

Thanks for the correction, I also can't forget Mo Pete's layup with his headband on his eyes...Not my favourite raptor memory, but it will always be one of the most remembered moment in my book.

Yea, I know. I still wanted him to beat that record, to signal that we were past VC.

Thats not how it happened...if you are talkin about the playoffs against the knicks....He jacked a crazy 3 cause he thought they needed a 3 to tie, when they were only down by 2.

I think he means in that first round series (last time raps were in the playoffs) in the last game and the raptors were down by 3 with probably about 5-10 seconds on the clock. Childs walks up court and jacks up possibly the worst 3 pointer i have ever seen in my life ... way behind the line, with tons of time left to get a better shot off.

That was the Pistons series that he jacked up that faerie shot and lost with like 8 seconds left on the clock when he sped up the court.
