Whats The "Most Interesting" Team In The NBA? What team do you guys think is the most interesting team in the NBA?
Well a lot of the answer's in this thread will be the persons' favorite team. The Nets are my favorite team and I find them the most interesting to watch.
Intersting? i'd have to say the lakers, heat, and the sixers. I would say Twolves, but that isnt any fun. I love to see kobe carry the lakers, and likewise with the sixers, also the heat are fun because they are always in the game. Also the bulls are sweet to watch because they are so young
I like the Nets cause of Kidd/Carter/Jefferson. They are all exciting to watch. If you watch Warriors games you'll see crazy J-Rich dunks and amazing Baron Davis passes. I like watching the Lakers because Kobe's a great player even though I don't like him. Miami Heat and Clevland Cavs because of Wade and James. Suns and Mavs cause the are always fast paced.
Suns and Mavs are always fun to watch because of the scoring. But I like the Bulls because they are my favorite team. But they are fun to watch also. They play hard.
With Kobe Bryant leading the way for the Lakers last season, they became must see T.V. in my mind. I would always Tivo the Lakers game if they were on TNT or ESPN and I think they are the most interesting team to watch. Another interesting team for me was the Cavaliers. I loved watching LeBron especially in the playoffs because I wanted to see how far he could take Cleveland. After the Cavs and Lakers got knocked out of the playoffs it got really boring for me.
Bias aside, I think the Lakers are a very interesting team. Everyone seems to love them or hate them. There really is no in-between. Their core of Kwame/Kobe/Odom is always interesting to watch. You never know what to expect.
Teams that I will sit down and watch whenever they are on TV: Bulls, 76ers, Lakers, Heat, Magic, and Cavaliers
Bulls, Sixers, Suns, I actually also like Spurs games. I used to love to see the Kings play before, when they had Bibby, Christie, Peja, Webber, Vlade/Miller.
There's a lot of hype surrounding the Bulls next season. Hopefully they can live up to the expectations.
Lately I have started to notice the Wizards as an up and coming team. And, obviously the Hornets deserve alot of attention as well. Last Winter, the Bulls came out of the closet but I'm not sure if they made the right choice by spending all of their capital on a center who may no longer be the hungry beast which drove his ascendance in the league and who may have played his best years in Michigan. Hopefully, Deng will emerge in a huge way, Nelson will dispell any remaining critics, and Nocioni will stay consistent and dangerous and deserving of the accolades he garnered when Songaila's season ended with a broken foot bone and "Noci" got to play more minutes. The Hornets were going to be exciting one way or another. Chris Paul says it all. He puts too much pressure on an opponent's perimeter defense for lock-downs on both Peja and West (if Peja is not averaging 18 ppg. by Christmas, the Hornets will need a shot doctor.) The Wizards have a real star in Arenas, an amazing talent in Jamison, and a real stud in Butler. There's no human eraser in the middle, but the pick up of Songaila may have been one of the better FA acquisitions. That guy has turned the heads of most GMs in the League while remaining "under the radar" with great team play that helped the Kings and the Bulls have successful years; he can pass as well as any 6'9" player, few his size have the array of shot creating and making skills he possesses, and he can put it on the floor and score in the trees, and can be counted on to have good position and footwork on offense and defense, and loves the physical aspect of the game. Once the Wizards sort out their Center position (besides lighting a fire under Haywood) with depth and size, the skill of their big "3" and the added team dimension with Songaila should put them in good position to reach the East Finals.
I dont think interesting necessarily means most liked or most coverage, so I'm going to go with Orlando or Utah, as they're the most interesting teams to me (apart from the obvious).
Charlotte Bobcats. I am very interested in their progress as a team, and since they drafted Adam Morrison, I expect their progress to be sped up, and I expect them to start beating teams.
I'm a Heat fan so I'll just make a pitch: The Heat were the most clutch team this season and had over a dozen games where they came back from double digits deficits in the the 4th quarter. They weren't always successful in those rallies but they had you at the edge of your seat and you couldn't count them out. They also had the biggest Finals comeback ever, something like out of a Disney movie. They were this year's Cinderella team. No one believed in them and they had to overcome a lot of doubters, critics, injuries, and other adversities to be where they were at today. Everyone was just waiting for them to implode and at the first signs of bickering headlines were being made around the world. Even in their darkest hours they still managed to find a light at the end of the tunnel.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting antonyo09:</div><div class="quote_post">by interesting not meaning exciting the knicks</div> I agree. If we're talking interesting, I would think everyone's interested in what kind of sticky situation the Knicks can get themselves into next.
Most interesting I'd have to say Orlando. Its actually amazing to see how good they are and yet how young. Most fun I'd have to say the Lakers. Your always standing on the edge of your seat because its almost always close games.
To me its the lakers because it either you love or you hate them that's why their forum is the most active.
Being a Heat fan, I have to say them of course. Not only do they have two great superstars in Shaq Dwne, but they also have great role players ('Toine, 'Zo, J Will, UDon, J Posey, and GP). It should be interseting to see next year how they defend their title. Will they falter? Will they succeed?
