An idea came to me. The jets current offensive coordinator was the Titans during McNair's success. I've often thought Aaron Brooks is just like McNair in many ways but has a stronger arm. I no how the Jets are looking to go downfield more as well. So J-E-T-S what do you think about Aaron Brooks. I think he would fit nicely in a Jets uniform and could have some success if you have a running game behind him. It's likely he'll get cut after this season so I'm thinking the Jets would be a taker.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (porky88)</div><div class='quotemain'>The jets former offensive coordinator was the Titans during McNair's success.</div> Do you mean the Jets current offensive coordinator? Brooks may very well be out the door. The question is: are the Jets ready to give up on Pennington? If not, is Brooks willing to have to compete and possibly be a backup?
the Jets are definatly looking to bring someone in to compete with Pennington for the job and you know what Brooks seems like he could be the next McNair in Hermandinger's offense he just has to stay consistant. i see exactly what your saying and its definatly something that the Jets will be willing to consider. Jets are a good team without all these injuries and i think a strong armed qb will be perfect for the Jets offensive fit and for the fans i'm tired of seeing the best draw and dumpoff team in the league when i look to other games i see great drives and huge bombs, the jets are a boring team with Pennington short arming passes i think we need more excitement and that'll make us a better team... we've already got a defense we just need consistancy on both sides of the ball.
lol I was watching Cold Pizza this mourning and I heard the Jets would be intrested in Kerry Collins and Aaron Brooks. Beat them to the punch.
