    New York?s regular home schedule is highlighted by two visits from the World Champion Miami Heat on Friday, Jan. 26 and Monday, Feb. 26, one visit by the Western Conference Champion Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday, Mar. 20 and two appearances by the Toronto Raptors and the first overall pick in the 2006 NBA Draft, Andrea Bargnani, on Saturday, Dec. 2 and Sunday, Mar. 18. The team will play two afternoon games at home, including its annual Dr. Martin Luther King Day game on Monday, Jan. 15 versus Sacramento.

    The Knicks will participate in 20 back-to-back sets and play four-games-in-five-nights on two occasions.

    Prior to the 82-game regular season, New York will participate in six preseason games, including three at Madison Square Garden. Tickets for the three preseason home games at MSG go on sale Thursday, Sep. 21 at 9:00 a.m. and can be purchased at the Madison Square Garden Box Office, nyknicks.com, (800) 4NBA-Tix and TicketMaster outlets. The preseason schedule will be released later this month.

    Our first game is against Memphis on November 1st and our first home game is against the Pacers on November 4th.

    The first ten games are going to be tough. The Knicks have to play Houston, Denver, Memphis, Indiana and San Antonio twice. I can easily see the Knicks starting the season 1-9 which would put the Knicks in a big whole early and may(considering the players on the team)destroy the team's confidence.


    Anyway I think Isiah Thomas should be fired.
