Is it also possible to transfer pics from the Razr to my computer, with the USB?

Yup, with the mobile phone tools + usb you can do that. Same applies for transferring pics from your computer to your phone.

Yeah but so far I havent been able to get it to work with the USB for some reason. I have to use bluetooth to transfer the music, pictures, etc. (I have the Verizon v3m)

Yeah, the chocolate looks pretty cool. Retarded name, if you ask me.

But I am not one of those dudes who obsesses over phones, nor do I ever bring them up in a normal conversation -- so I couldn't really tell you. On top of all that, I have Sprint as my service. . my phone is nothing fantastic (none of sprints phones really are.. no SIM cards either). I would suggest NOT getting the Razr. . Everyone and their mother has one, it's a bit annoying. I think Cingular is the service that had the collab with Apple to have the I-pod phone. T-Mobile uses just about every phone, and Verizon has that beauty (the chocolate). If you have Sprint though, good luck.

I'm sorry but the V3 Razr is pure crap. It's a waste of money. I think it come's with something ridiculous like 12MB internal memory and then you have to purchase an SD card or something. The Samsung D600 come's with 80MB internal memory, a 2 megapixel camera + more. Currently the Sony Ericsson phone's are the best with Samsung and Nokia not too far behind. I would recommend the Samsung D600, Nokia N73 or the Sony Ericsson K800i(it might be a 810i, it has a 3.1 megapixel camera). If you want a phone with MEGA video quality and capabilities, wait for the Nokia N93 to come out. That Nokia 8800 someone mentioned is also a waste of money, the specs on that phone are poor.

The V3x (what I have) is pretty much just as good as the D600 (the D600 sounds a bit better), it has 60MB internal memory, with optional 512MB transflash and a 2.0 megapixel camera.

My Razr split off from the middle just half a year after I got it. My friend was fooling around with it and he bent the screen backwards, just snapped.

    Now I have a Nokia 6103.

I've had a Sony Ericsson for about 3 years now. Phones aren't that big a deal to me.

If you're looking for a new one, I've heard nothing but good things about the Razr (both in this thread and out).

Personally, I'd go with a Samsung phone. I have the Samsung MM-A800. I've had it for almost a year now and it's still more technoligically advanced than a lot of phones on the market. Only turnoff is the fact that it's very big and bulky. However, it's a slider phone, and has a ton of nice stuff on it, main thing being the 2.0 megapixel camera. However...I will shortly (hopefully) be getting Mobile ESPN here soon in the form of the Samsung Ace. It's essentially a Razor only better. It's got tons of multimedia stuff (1.3mp camera, media player, mp3 playback, etc.) and it's got Mobile ESPN. Only available through Sprint though.

If you want a phone to double as an mp3 player then you're probably right but all I really care about is if the battery lasts and if I get good reception, everything else is a bonus since I rarely if ever use stuff like the music player, GPS, camera, etc. Razr's are cheap these days, sleek, get the job done fine but they are toward the low end in terms of phones that double as all-in-one media centers. I have my own mp3 player that plays music as well as any phone, I don't need some half assed mp3 program tacked on to my phone (though the Razr does have one) so IMO Razr is a very nice phone.

Okay, so these are the phones I'm looking at the most
SLVR, the V3X, The Motorola Q, and the Treo.

And maybe that chocolate phone, although the name sounds ridiculous.

The name doesn't matter, did you read all of the stuff that's on it? it looks class too. The question is can you afford it's high price? I saved extra for years for this type of situation that way I won't be wasting money. Woop! Good luck man.

Yeah, the name isn't all that important; just don't want to "bust out the chocolate". Just sounds weird. [IMG]

But my budget is something like $200, so I can get something good. Plus you can find any phone in Harlem. Anything.
