MVP has nothing to do with how good you are. It only concerns the value to your team. Obviously that is the reason Kobe did not win the award.

If it was value to your team KG (or any other all star on a crap team) would win every single year. Our team is scrubs besides him. Kobe is playing with a great talent in Odom, plus some other very capable players. When you add in Phil Jackson as teh coach, you'd expect playoffs. Kobe was amazing this year, but nash led a completely new team of relative unknowns to the third best record in the west. All whle putting up great numbers. Seriously man, quit posting garbage that you know isnt true. Nash has two mvp's, people need to deal with that. And he DID deserve it last year.

Nash still has more MVPs than Shaq. Why should anyone care about this award? The criteria is very subjective/questionable.

Nash earned and deserved both of his mvp's. It's not his fault that shaq wasnt the best candidate for more than two years. Sure shaq is better, but he wasnt better than nash either of these two years, or gotten screwed out of an mvp any other year.

What are you talking about? Shaq is a superior player, yet Nash has two. Thus the award doesn't matter. Shaq hasn't deserved more MVPs? Yeah sure, right.

holy crap not this again. The mvp is given to the best player in the league for a season, not career. Obviously shaq is a better player, but he wasnt better for either of the last two seasons. Also, shaq has not been screwed out of any mvp awards, so nash does deserve more mvp's than shaq.

Holy crap, it's another person that makes this award seem like it is somewhat important. IMO, Shaq should have won in 2001. As for the other years, he had harder competition, how is that his fault.

Thats my point. Why are you bashing nash for deserving more mvp's than shaq?

just because your boy kobe didnt win it, doesnt mean it is worthless. Mvp is the highest honor a player can get besides a ring. You know that if kobe own it, you would be going nuts about how smart all the voters are, and how kobe finally got his due. And if you want to see who should've won, look what happened in the playoffs.

You're full of it. You see my sig and you make everything about Kobe. No, if Kobe wins it I would not care. Not everyone is a hypocrite or gives a crap about the award like you. The MVP is not highest honor a player can get because he needs to have a good team around him to earn enough wins (Or else KG would have more remember?). Who mentioned him anyway? I was talking about Shaq. FYI, I like Nash. Lay off.

Wow you're really something (no it's not the second highest honor either, the media follows an arbitrary process). You indirectly called me a hypocrite by saying I would be all over Kobe if he won an MVP. Do you understand your own posts? Lol at you. You're special.

ran out of stuff to debate about so you just attack me? thats cool. I was basically calling you a hypocryte, because i garuntee when or if kobe ever wins an mvp you will be happy. You wont be like whatever, that award means crap.

are you seriously trying to tell me, that if a player you refer to as Jesus (considered to be the savior of all christians, and a god) won the mvp, you wouldnt be happy?

I have plenty to say about the topic, unlike you. Keep lying to yourself, I will never care about the award. WTF, the Jesus thing is his nickname from the Lakerboard. I can call him whatever I want. You have to prove you have mental powers, or wait a year/years to prove your point about me being a hypocrite. No one has to call you names, you don't understand your own posts, scroll up if you don't believe me. You call that attacking? Hilarious, that was nothing.

Bouncing around what subject exactly? You're the one that shouldn't be here if you're going to take everything personal. You haven't brought anything meaningful to this conversation, you rely on clich?s to prove your point about me being a hypocrite, when in fact, that is far from the truth.

What cliche? seriously, you dont even have an argument. Nash has more mvp's than shaq, so? he deserved em, shaq deserved his one, thats it. Kobe has deserved none.
