Who do you think will have the honor to start at small forward for us next season. Kyle Korver, or this year's first round pick, Rodney Carney? Rodney Carney was drafted this season to provide us more depth and possibly move Korver over to the bench, which could benefit us considering Korver is a deadly scorer, and we are in much need of more help off the bench. Rodney Carney is a big upgrade over Korver defensive wise. Carney is athletic, more mobile, and stronger. He is also has some speedy legs so he shouldnt have problems trying to keep up with the opposing player. He also has a pretty nice offensive game, and a duo of Andre and Carney on the fast break would be exciting to watch. But what Carney lacks is the expirience and the deep threat that Korver provides us. Korver has proven to be one of the best shooters in the league. He was very inconsistent last year, but I fullly expect him to bounce back. Korver is a great necessity because if AI drives into the paint, he can always dish it out to Korver for the open three. Although Carney isn't horrible on offense, he definetly isn't a Kyle Korver. Carney is a terrific athlete, but from what I have read, he struggles a bit shooting the ball, although he has improved tremendously from his past seasons. On defense, Carney gets the nod, but Korver is a hustler and he gives it 110%. He isn't afraid to take the charge when it is in need. With that being said, who would you like to start at small forward for us next season, Rodney Carney or Kyle Korver? With Carney starting, we could have one of the most athletic duos in the league with him and Andre Iguodala. We could also benefit a bit on defense. With Korver starting, we get some more experience on the floor, and a guy who can hit the shots from downtown.
