Why am I the only one that has seen his possible upside. I've seen him play at the international level and he has been able to score in the post. From what I've seen, he is a step above Kandi who can't even dunk. Santiago has good post footwork and should be able to pound the ball in the post which is something we haven't had since.........Gary Trent. If he's cheap, I'm for it.

Let me give you guys a sad fact.......

from what we've seen of Santiago...he's been better than every Center we've had since Dean Garrett (just because I liked him). Kandi showed flashes...but it wasn't that he was doing well, but the other teams just didn't really care to defend him. I can't remember a highly contested game where he was at least serviceable. Some blame goes on perimeter defense cause he had to pick up fouls when the offense was driving into his face. But still, just think back.

Santiago should be a good back up and should be time because he can bang unlike everyone else on the roster.
