<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TDoug:</div><div class="quote_post">Tracy McGrady. Gifted hands, length, amazing range, powerful rebounder when he needs to be for the team and can pass and involve his whole team. Needless to say as a gifted athlete he can turn up defensive pressure and transition effortlessly back and forth. I think he is slightly ahead of Kobe as the all around best player today. Three years from now, we will be talking about James and Anthony and Wade. Chris Paul will be a top 5 player, but because of his height (which if you watched the Hornets last year you know he is a competitive rebounder ala Kidd -- a better shooter than Kidd, though) will not be able to lay claim to best all around player. Then again...</div> I think you're stuck in the past (2003). And since when is T-Mac some defensive beast? The guy doesn't produce enough PER to be considered best all-around player today. Yes he is talented and underperforming, but that's it.

Seriously though, Tracy McGrady has plenty of holes in his game. Maybe not offensivley but his game as a whole has weak points (more so than someone like Kobe). His defense, attitude (in Orlando at least), and ability to create for his teammates needs some work. Also, how can you choose someone who has never won a playoff series to be the player with the least weaknesses. Obviously something isn't clicking there.
Besides the obvious, I like Joe Johnson. Excellent shooter, playmaker, quick, could rebound, defend and everything else.

KG. He's great at everything, unselfish, great defender and can play every position. Kobe is very good but KG has the advantage because he's able to block shots, rebound, and play more positions because of his size (not a knock on Kobe, just an advantage to KG). <div class="quote_poster">Quoting TheFreshPrince:</div><div class="quote_post">^^Im talking all around shooting, plus no scrubs. Obvioulsy there are some crappy pf's that can shoot the lights out.</div> What about Troy Murphy? Mehmet Okur? Charlie Villanueva? Rasheed Wallace? Shareef Abdur-Rahim? Antawn Jamison? All these guys are starters and are better shooters than KG. KG does have a nice shot but it's not that great compared to most of the jumpshooting PFs in the league.
Shawn Bradley. He Can Shot, from 2 feet. He can (barely) block 5'5 Earl Boykins, he can shoot free throws, on NBA Live 04. He can dunk, in space jam. PLUSSSSSSS, his body is so versatile, he doesnt take up any space on the benc because hes so skinny. Thats My Pick KG

^ Also add that he can energize the other team (or perhaps his own) by constantly being slammed and beaten by opposing players, and/or dunked on by them.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting og15:</div><div class="quote_post">So you're saying shooting is a weakness for KG, yet he's a better shooter than Kirilenko who's a SF, and that's not a weakness for Kirilenko? For a PF, his shooting is not "relatively good", it's very good. He hits an eFG% of 46.9% on jumpshots in addition to his 81% FT, Dirk hits a 49.8% eFG, but he has the help of shooting 40% from three and taking a good amount of them per game. Just because someone else is a better shooter than you does not mean your shooting becomes a weakness. In comparison, it's not as good, but still not a weakness. Shooting is not Ben Gordon's weakness because Ray Allen is a better shooter than him. Worse of all is that you go on to say AK's ball handling is only average for his position, yet it's not a weakness., but KG's shooting is good (actually very good) for his position, yet it's a weakness? </div> For KG's shooting, I was going by the games I had seen but, I concede, I should have looked up statistics to back up my own personal views. As you have proven, the stats and my opinion do not match, therefore I was wrong and shooting is not a weakness of KG's, though it is something he can improve on. I think that what I was trying to say, regarding Kirilenko's ball-handling, was the same as the latter part of what I have just mentioned about KG's shooting: it is not a weakness, but still something he could improve on.

I'd say he's Top 10 as a PF in terms of total shooting ability. He doesn't have as much range as Murphy, Charlie, Sheed and Rahim, but inside his range he's more accurate than them. I think he also has the highest FT shooting percentage out of all of them. I didn't mention Okur because I think he's a C, Boozer is the PF. Though Okur really is a C/PF. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">For KG's shooting, I was going by the games I had seen but, I concede, I should have looked up statistics to back up my own personal views. I'm surprised Elton Brand wasn't mentioned yet as a guy with least weaknesses. He may not be as great as Duncan, Garnett, or even Nowitzki, but I'd argue he has a fewer number of weaknesses than any of them.
Has got to be Kobe. The guy plays almost the whole game, scores at will, get his shot and pretty much unstoppable with his skill arsenal.
i think KG is a good shooting power foward when combined with his other abilities it makes him a great all-around player. Obviously there are pf's who can shoot better than kg, but he does everything else better then them. That's like saying Kobe isn't all-around cause Ray Allen can out shoot him. Plus, just cause a player can shoot a 3 better then KG doesn't make him a better shooter.
