<div class="quote_poster">Quoting thedude9990:</div><div class="quote_post">its gunna be tough to take the 2 players out, i think bowen will be 1 of the 2</div> Nah I doubt it. I think he will be kept because of his defense. I'm pretty sure Jamison will be cut.
That defense in the 2nd was great. Carmelo once again is playing great. He had a nice start. The guys in the 2nd quarter played well on both sides. Gilbert made a great hustle play.
This team is playing awesome. D Wade and Lebron are tearing it up. Dwight has been unguardable for Puerto Rico. Bosh had an off night but he'll bounce back.
They just showed some stats. LeBron James - 10 points 4 rebounds 5 assists Dwyane Wade - 14 points 4 assists Carmelo Anthony - 16 points 5 rebounds.
I need a gif of Wade throwing dudes dunk attemp. DAM did yall see that pass from Paul dude is the truth.
Man...I thought I miss this game at first. It was a great game. The Puerto Rico played extremely well for 2 quarters. The USA overpowered Puerto Rico in the 3rd and 4th quarter with their fast break offense and full court press defense. The game is pretty much over once USA started to play tight defense. Player of the Game: I go with Arenas. He was the guy who turned the game around in the 2nd quarter with his hustle and defense.
Keep one of Bowen or Battier, USA still needs guys who can shoot some long balls and play defense and not dominate the ball to be effective. I wouldn't mind cutting Jamison. He can be a nightmare on offense, but look at our team! It's got a lot of scoring already. We need guys who can pass and play D. I'm very Happy with Hinrich/Dwade/Arenas/Lebron/Joe Johnson type players that can score easily, play D, and be glue guys, but between Melo and Jamison, I'd rather have Melo. We could use an Elton Brand, Brad Miller, a Chris Bosh, Dwight Howard to bolster our size in the paint. All can extend their shooting games to that of the European/international paint game (trapezoidal key) and offer double doubles + defense and passing. Paul + Hinrich + Arenas + Dwade makes for an effective point guard or shooting guard set. I like this a lot. If we want more size at the two we could go LBJ or Joe Johnson at SG or sub in Bruce Bowen or Shane Battier as defensive role players. I think at the international level there aren't too many 6'6 or 6'8 shooting guards to worry about. Even if there are some problems defensively with 6'2 and 6'4 shooting guards, offensively we're pretty good when it comes to beating a guy with the dribble and shooting off the dribble. This is probably way better than AI/Marbury backcourt. D-wade is still a very effective prototype shooting guard even if his size at 6'4 categorizes some to believing he is a combo. He can play some point, but that is what all true shooting guards have to do to cover for the real point guard.
T'Wolves are making a Mistake signing Santiago USA needs a Idiot like Bo Outlaw to get the rest of the team hyped. make him a dancer or something edit: i think like 6 i had 3 in a row at one time
