Rank the current Bulls rosters/ players from best to worst in your opinions. Here is the list of the current members of the roster (so no one forgets the scrubs haha)….I crossed out Thabo and Tyrus since they haven’t played yet we can’t really judge them. Roster: Malik Allen Eddie Basden P.J. Brown Luol Deng Chris Duhon Ben Gordon Adrian Griffin Kirk Hinrich Viktor Khryapa Andres Nocioni <strike>Thabo Sefolosha </strike> Michael Sweetney <strike>Tyrus Thomas </strike> My Rankings: 1. Ben Wallace- Although, he is not the best overall player on the roster he is our only all star there for he goes on top of the list regardless in my opinion. He is also going to be the anchor of our team’s defense this season, more than likely as a captain, our run for a title depends largely on Ben Wallace. 2. Kirk Hinrich- I consider Hinrich the best overall player on this team. He does it all plays defense, scores, passes, and even rebounds some. Hinrich has been one of the team’s tri-captains for the past two seasons. He is the floor leader, locker room leader, and off the court leader of the Bulls. 3. Ben Gordon- I think he has the potential to be the best Bull on the roster if he commits himself to improving on the defensive side of the ball, which I heard he is working on this off-season. Gordon is our clutch time star whenever we need a bucket down the stretch you know Air Gordon will be there ready and willing to take it. My favorite Bull. 4. Andres Nocioni- Andre The Red Bull Nocioni represents everything our team stands for toughness, defense, winning, and the never say die attitude. Nocioni is the kind of player you would want on your side if you where going into a fight. He is willing to do whatever it takes to come out on top. 5. Luol Deng- Due to his wrist injury Deng struggled to find himself in the first half of the season. Having to change his shot after wrist surgery Deng really couldn’t get his shot going until the second half of last year when he did though he was one of the top players on the roster. He is in a tough position right now battling Nocioni for a starting spot. Whether he starts or not his potential is limitless. 6. Chris Duhon- Our second captain Duhon is an inspiration to all that know him. He is the constant professional and one of sports true “nice guys”. He has donated countless time, effort, and money to the hurricane relief effort in New Orleans. I’m proud to have him represent our organization. 7. PJ Brown- Another one of sports nice guys he was the Chris Duhon of the New Orleans Hornets another Louisiana native Brown has also donated countless time to help rebuild New Orleans. You could not ask for a better veteran leader for a young squad with so much potential and expectations. 8. Michael Sweetney- There is not much you can say about the kid a winner who is willing to do anything to get on the court be it taking an elbow to the face from Shaq, or playing against guys five to six inches taller than him on a nightly bases. I predict a big year for sweets. 9. Malik Allen- A guy who will do what is asked of him without asking the question why. Always ready to contribute when his number is called. 10. Adrian Griffin- A former captain who adds veteran leadership, defense, and a locker room influence Griffin is widely expected to secure the third captain spot in the Bulls tri-captain system. Many figure it’s between he and Brown. 11. Viktor Khryapa- I’m going to be honest with you only reason he is so low is because I have never seen him play. 12. Eddie Basden- Anything and I mean anything is better than [Steven A. Smith voice]Eddie Basden[/Steven A. Smith voice]
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Best Kept Secret:</div><div class="quote_post"> 11.Viktor Khryapa- I?m going to be honest with you only reason he is so low is because I have never seen him play. </div> Me being a Portland fan and i see him play trust me be happy that u didn't seen him play and try very hard to keep it that way but he does have Potential (but who doesn't these days)
kinda boring, but i completely agree with you BKS. Maybe i would switch Duhon and Brown, but that's about it.
1. Ben Wallace 2. Kirk Hinrich 3. Ben Gordon 4. Andres Nocioni 5. Luol Deng 6. Chris Duhon 7. P.J. Brown 8. Mike Sweetney 9. Malik Allen 10. Adrian Griffin 11. Eddie Basden I think Noc and Deng are together, but I just put Noc above because he has more expirence when he played international and how well defense he plays. I didn't put Khryapa because I haven't seen him play, but I'd think he's above Basden. We'll see how Griffin does and how much playing time he gets. And hopefully Sweets will be able to last longer and get him the ball in the post.
Yeah, I agree, I love Nocioni's game, he has started to really light it up, plus he can rebound very well.
The only thing I would change is: 4a. Andres Nocioni 4b. Luol Deng I like what both of them bring to our team.
1. Kirk Hinrich - Can do anything, score, defend, lead. You name it. 2. Ben Wallace - All Star defense but offensive liability. 3. Ben Gordon - Clutch, great scorer and can win the Bulls some games. 4. Luol Deng - Quality All-round player. Plenty of potential still untapped. 5. Andres Nocioni - Much like Luol Deng, quality all round player, aggressive. 6. Chris Duhon - Severly underrated, good player to have off the bench. 7. PJ Brown - Can score and rebound. Handy to have for a big man. 8. Mike Sweetney - Another big man, inconsistent, hoping for better things. 9. Malik Allen - Veteren player, consistent at the beginning of games. 10. Adrian Griffen - Another vet, leader and defensive minded. 11. Eddie Basden - Yeah well, only here cos I never heard of Krappa. 12. Viktor Kraypa - Yeah....he sounds like a KGB Agent.
1. Kirk Hinrich 2. Ben Wallace 3. Ben Gordon 4. Andr?s Nocioni 5. Luol Deng 6. PJ Brown 7. Chris Duhon 8. Mike Sweetney 9. Adrian Griffin 10. Viktor Kraypa 11. Malik Allen 12. Eddie Basden
I've never seen Basden play, but really is he as bad as BKS makes him sound? Btw does anyone know if Sweetney is getting into shape? If so i'd put him up higher on those lists. Remember when he just came from NY, he was already doing what Curry was doing for us the season before.

Let me just put this way there is a reason you never saw him play.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Brian:</div><div class="quote_post">I don't know what you guys were expecting out of Basden. The guy wasn't even drafted.........</div> To play in more than 19 regular season games is what I expected when he was signed Paxson made him out to be a steal his defense was also overhyped. He should not be on the roster right now.
I think that ben gordon should be put over ben wallace becuase ben doesnt do much on offence. And also he brings the worst stragety (but effective) Hack-a-ben.... and ben gordon can just light it up from the 3 point range, just my opinion (Kirk on top of both of them)

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Brian:</div><div class="quote_post">I don't know what you guys were expecting out of Basden. The guy wasn't even drafted.........</div> Neither was Andr?s Nocioni and he was considered a bust before he even stepped onto the floor by NBA media. Basden won't be special like Nocioni will naturally, but with more playing time and experience he could do something more productive such as build a steady 7.0 or 8.0 PPG career average. He's built strong for a common guard and that could be an edge for him if he improves on other aspects. Though I doubt he will get much playing time with the Bulls he'll probably end up being a lost cause next year and have a better chance with a new team by signing away.
