Man if NBA TV was smart. They'd play these forein game on tv. Also guys, why is everyone saying olympics? lol Thats not untill 2008. But anyways no new story here with Arroyo. He dominates all the time with Puerto Rico. IMO that's how he really got his name more well known when he spanked us (the U.s Team last olympics) It's just to bad where up the ying yang in PGs
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Swish15:</div><div class="quote_post">Yeah he is really doing good this summer. I heard that he is working out with Dwight and let's hope they come back strong next season. By the way, good to see you around saint. Stay active and I look forward to reading your posts.</div> sure i am from PR and my English is not very good but ill try to apport to the forum... everytime that PUR win im going to be here
Against Lithuania, Dwight had 4 points and 4 rebounds in 10 minutes. Dwight isn't doing bad at all so far considering he isn't playing much time. He went 2-2 from the field today while Chris Bosh went 1-5. Complete Boxscore: http://www.usabasketball.com/seniormen/200...ition_box4.html
I would really like to Dwight get more minutes. 4 pts and 4 rebs in 10 mins isn't bad but I'm sure with more minutes he would really fill up the stat sheet.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting saint:</div><div class="quote_post">in 9 minutes only??</div> That's what the Orlando Sentinel said in yesterday's paper.
In their first WOBC games, here's how the Magic trio faired. Arroyo put up 23 points 5 assists, 4 turnovers in 26 minutes. He shot 8-16 including 7-7 from the line against the United States Dwight put up 10 points 7 rebounds, 2 blocks, 1 TO in 18 minutes on 3-3 shooting and 4-5 from the line against Puerto Rico. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Sergio:</div><div class="quote_post">31minutes 2/11 FG (18.2%) 1/7 for 2pts (14.3%) 1/4 for 3pts (25%) 5 rebounds 3 asists 2 TO 1 steal 2 blocks and 5 points</div> There's Darko's numbers against Nigeria.
dwight played good against china he had like 16 points and 11 or more rebounds (can't tell you the exact numbers as the official web page for the world championship sucks and is not really up to date)

lol, this IS the page I'm looking at. For the fun of it, I checked the profile of Arroyo. it says his weight is 1900lbs http://www.fiba2006.fiba.com/pages/eng/fe/...86_openNodeIDs=

Darko put up 14 points, 9 rebounds, 3 blocked shots in 36 mins, while shooting 6-13 from 2 and 2-4 from the line in a loss to France. Dwight put up 16 points and 10 rebounds with 2 assists, 1 steal, 1 block and 0 turnovers in 22 mins in a rout of China. Arroyo had 29 points 6 rebounds 2 assists, 2 turnovers in 35 mins while shooting 8/15 from the floor including 3-6 from 3 point land and 10-11 from the line. Dwight is looking absolutely beastly right now. The thing that plagued him the most was turnovers last season and he has had a combined 1 turnovers with 2 assists. He also continues to be a defensive presence. Arroyo is leading the entire tournament in scoring and Darko continues to be a defensive threat and his offense is starting to come around a little.
Dwight is tearing it up on the boards. Im watching the China game and they cant contain him. Dwight is working very hard on the boards, thats what we want to see going into this season. He is going to be a beast. Im pretty sure the rebounding title should be his for the taking.
