Dwight only played 11 minutes(since Bosh played so well the last 2 games), but he put up 8 points 2 boards and 3 blocks. He shot 3-3 from the floor and 2-4 from the line. The Americans play the Dirk led Germans on the 30th in the Round of 8.

    Dwight's overall numbers are.... 14.67 mpg(88), 6.83 ppg(41), 4.67 rpg(28), 1.67 bpg(10). That is on 48% shooting(12-25) and 60.7% FT shooting(17-28). He also only has 1 turnover in the entire tournament. Post #58 has Darko's all around numbers.

Dwight put up 8 points on 2-2 shooting and 4-5 from the line with 5 boards and 2 blocks in only 11 minutes as the US team beat Germany by 20. He was also the only US player who played to not attempt a 3. We play Greece on Friday.

In 13 min. Dwight went 4-6 FG and 2-3 FT at the stripe. He had a team high 7 rebounds and 0 blocks in a loss to Greece.

I'm actually kind of glad that the US was defeated. they need to work harder cuz these guys from other countries play together for years. They can't win on individual talent and they need to play better team ball. although i would think they learned that from the last summer games. hopefully by the time they play in the real tournament they are more used to playing with each other.

Yea, we really need kobe, J.J., Billups or someone that can drain a 3 ball... More than anything this team needs time together... Plus all of our guys are young, so next time they play in competition it should be a different story. I wonder how an allstar game would work if it were voted allstars versus this team. That would be a hell of a game...

Behind Melo, Dwight was easily most pleasant surprise of the USA team. Dwight was an animal on the boards and was able to score without having any plays drawn up for him. I cant wait for the season to start. Dwight and Darko are going to be amazing together. I never thought i would be saying this but thanks Detriot...

Rosen gives Dwight a C-. Are you kidding? The man didnt have one play drawn up for him yet he still got 8 - 10ppg, not to mention the amount of offensive boards and blocks. He says he dissappeared against the good teams, if the coach takes you out, you cant exactly score and be effective. I am confused on how he could give someone that didnt play that many minutes and when he was out there he was pulling in 9 rebounds a game. Rosen is an idiot.
