So apparently we're going to be the 8th seed in the west. I'm pretty sure we will end up with a better record than the Hornets and the Nuggets.

He is? Maybe three-fourths of him or something like that.

Didn't Amare injured his knee again or something? Isn't that the reason why he wasn't with Team USA last night?

They said that he didn't want to ruin his progress for the upcoming season, so he dropped out.

Those rankings are garbage. The Lakers should be higher than 14th, maybe not much, but slightly. The Hornets shouldn't be higher than the Lakers. They may have added some nice pieces, but we don't know how they're going to coexist on the court yet. The Kings should be higher, Bonzi or not. Washington, by no means, should be in the top 10. That team is still pretty thin, even with the addition of Songaila. And the thing they don't mention is that that move could cancel out the potential loss of Jared Jeffries. Memphis shouldn't be as high as they are either. The loss of Battier is going to hurt that team and the additions of Gay and Swift won't be that great. All in all....crappy rankings. I don't like them at all.

Yeah, I think the Lakers can only get better. Maturity and a big man is what they need.
