Billy King has taken Allen Iverson off the trading block, signed rookies Rodney Carney and Bobby Jones, so now what is he doing? It seems like the only thing on his mind now is trying to get Steven Smith, an undrafted free agent, into a Sixer uni. We have heard pretty much no rumors of what free agents Billly King is after. Some tid bits were Drew Gooden and Jay Williams, but Drew Gooden is a far fetched idea, which has a 0% chance of happening. We have heard nothing about Jay Williams, and I'm almost certain now that he won't sign with us, considering how much playing time he would get with AI on this roster. So what is Billy King doing now? Is he on vacation? We still have our full MLE to use, and our LLE. With most of the big name free agents already signed, I say we go after Reggie Evans. He is exactly what we need. A rebounder and a hustler. But obviously that is just a dream, because Billy King has showed no interest in Reggie Evans. *sigh* I doubt we sign anyone major this off season. The most I see us doing is signing Steve Smith, and maybe using our LLE on a veteran player. I still fail to see which direction we are going as a team. Are we rebuilding? Are we trying to win now? Because it doesn't seem like Billy King is moving in any direction. If we were to rebuild, it would be best to trade away AI for some young talent (Boston), but it hasnt been done. I fail to see how we are trying to win now if our only improvements this season were our rookies....... Sorry for another repetitive thread guys. I'm sure we have all heard multiple times that Billy King is sleeping and blah blah blah. But I'm just bored and I thought I might as well spend some time typing something.

Williams could play PG and AI could play SG, where he belongs. Besides that, I do agree with that. King ran his mouth, and he even blew up and said "SH** WILL CHANGE" on TV. So far we are far into the offseason and the only changes we have seen are the draft additions. I hate to tell King but I don't think Bobby Jones and Rodney Carney are going to put this team over the top. This offseason has been so dry, I haven't even heard any small rumors in a long time. So that makes me think, does management even care about this teams direction? It doesn't seem that way. Don't they realize that they aren't even selling tickets? Ticket sales went way down last season. The 76ers tried everything to get fans to come to games, from entertainers coming in at halftime for performances, from the opportunity to meet players after the games if you bring in a measily hat or a book, they were even giving out game tickets if you turned in a gun to the Philly police department. The point is, the 76ers are losing fan support. All the other NBA teams want to watch the 76ers on the road because of AI, but maybe the people in Philadelphia are just tired of watching a mediocre at best team. If you had somebody like Dr.J or Charles Barkley in the front office, you could be sure that they would at least put forth an effort in their jobs to take this team somewhere. I don't know what King is doing? But he sure is pissing me off, and I'm slowly losing interest in my Sixers.
