<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">GHANGZHOU, China -- Yao Ming could only watch as Team USA rolled to another dominant performance. Continuing its preparation for the world championships, the United States basketball team began its trip to the Far East with a 119-73 victory over China on Monday. Any chance China had of competing with Team USA hinged on the presence of the 7-5 Yao, a four-time All-Star center with the Houston Rockets who is coming off the best season of his career. But Yao is also coming off a broken foot and did not play in Monday's exhibition. His size could have posed problems for the Americans, who have just one 7-footer -- Brad Miller of the Sacramento Kings -- on their roster. But China could not contend with the superior athleticism of Team USA, which penetrated for numerous dunks. LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers was the ringleader with 23 points, including five dunks.</div> http://sports.espn.go.com/oly/wbc2006/news/story?id=2542151 USA already beat China, but you can go catch the action tonight at 9:30 ET on ESPN2. Can't wait to see Yi JianLian in action against NBA'ers.
That's pretty sad. I can't wait to see Yao play for real in the tournament. China looks pretty bad without him losing all of their exhibition games.
Yeah but they also didn't have Wang Zhi Zhi, who's a pretty important player on their team. He got injured a couple weeks ago, and he might not have played.
i wonder how many turnovers China had. I can't wait for the US to play lithuania, argentina, and france
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting McGrady^1:</div><div class="quote_post">hey can anyone help me find espn2 on my tvu player </div> Yeah I'll be right over. Just flip through the channels or look at your guide or something. You have six hours to find it.

Yao and Yi will get most of the frontcourt minutes, and Du Feng is a very competent small forward. Wang might even be a bench player for the rest of his national team career.

True, at this point he won't be a first option anymore, but he's probably going to be second scoring option behind Yao since Yi JianLian isn't exactly fully developed yet. His midrange game and ballhandling abilities still need a bit work on. From what I heard from my cousin, everyone were pissed when he got injured because he was a big part of the team.
Carmelo with another outstanding game. They said Brad Miller was 3-3 from 3P range. Not bad. Here is the box score: http://www.usabasketball.com/seniormen/200...ition_box2.html Wade had 5 steals. We had 21 total while forcing 34 turnovers.
I hope wang plays tonight. he used to be on the heat, and i never got to see him play. i want to see if hes any good.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting McGrady^1:</div><div class="quote_post">hmm i dont see espn 2 anywhere on tvu player anyone see it?</div> If you have raptors NBA tv their going to likely play it tomorrow, like they did with the usa-puerto rico game a day later.
