Watched him in college, he was awesome. Never got the chance in the league for some reason. Some just get lucky, they get their chance & perform really well.

I remember him playing for Washington a few years back. Don't know if he's still any good.

Wasn't this guy the "next Jordan"? He never played well and never developed as people would've thought. I'd love for him to have a decent comeback though. I'm a sucker for those kinds of success stories.

He used to play for the Vancouver Grizzlies as well, but I think, like most of the people on that team, he disappeared when they moved to Memphis. More recently, I saw him play at the Steve Nash charity classic in Vancouver a couple of weeks ago.

Does anyone know whatever happened to Raul Lopez? He played pretty decent statistically his first year, then either from injuries or whatever, only played a couple games in the 04-05 season. After that, he disappeared.

On a similar topic, anyone else notice how everyone seems to end their careers with the Magic or Raptors?

When I'm bored I like to just type in old players names into the NBA.com playfile URL to see how well they performed, at like 70% of the players I check up ended their career with Orlando or Toronto.

^Raul Lopez. LOL calm down those three question marks makes it look like you were in love with the guy.

Why'd Raul go back? For money? It looked like he was doing pretty decent.

I always liked Lopez, since he was a Red Storm product. Hopefully he gets a call. I think he can be a solid third-string point guard.

This guy tried to make a comeback with the Magic last offseason but we weren't interested.
