It's either Jason Kidd or Julius Erving. Carter has not played for the Nets long enough.

In my opinion it would be Kidd. I know everybody will be saying, that I forgot Erving but I just can't include him. I don't really remember/see what he did for the Nets, but I know that they won an ABA championship with him. Other than that I am not sure about the other accomplishments.

I know what Kidd has done and it is incredible. I understand that we haven't won a championship with him but he is big for us anyway. We were a laughing stock of the NBA, until he came along. We became a winning team, because of Captain Kidd. The things he provided on court were incredible, and the fact is, he is the Nets second coach. What more can you ask?

The Nets are a very talented team, but I don't think they would be as far today without him. Is he declining? His stats have declined a little bit, but he does things that stats never tell us. This guy is incredible, and in my opinion he is the greatest Net.

I would write more but it's 3:30 AM and I'm dieing.

    No mention of Derrick Coleman?

Dr. J was so dominant with the Nets in the ABA, and he won 2 ABA championships as well. But he only played 3 years as a Net.

    I'd say Jason Kidd.

gotta be Dr. J, not only cause of who he was as a player. Dr. J created fan interest in an ABA team, which was not easy at the time. In my opinion from a performance and financial standpoint he was a saviour to the organization.

    D. Coleman?!? Who the heck would want to mention him? He was one of the biggest busts in the NBA.

I think that Dr. J closely followed by J.Kidd. There is no use repeating what everyone else has said. Erving lead the Nets to two ABA championships, while Kidd lead the Nets to NBA finals. Yeh, Kidd's NBA finals appearances did not result in victories; but they were grand accomplishments nevertheless. I personally think that Kidd's first year with the Nets, he should have been MVP.

Jason Kidd. Julius Erving was great and played a big role in revolutionizing the NBA, but Kidd took the Nets farther. You really have to exclude the ABA championships, since, well, they're ABA championships--not NBA ones.

In my opinion, I think Dr. J is a sixer rather than a Net. When I think of him, I think of Sixers. Jason Kidd is the real and the best net imo.
