If you could build an all time Bulls roster of all the players to ever dawn a Bulls jersey what would you roster be? Of course, the team that won 72 games was great, but I would make a few changes to that roster. PG- Jerry Sloan/ Kirk Hinrich/ Steve Kerr SG- Michael Jordan/ Ben Gordon/ Ron Harper SF- Scottie Pippen/ Ron Artest/ Bob Love PF- Dennis Rodman/ Elton Brand/ Horace Grant C- Artis Gilmore/ Luc Longley I’m sure I’m forgetting a lot of people, but that is just my rough overview I left hall of famers like George Gervin and Nate Thurmond out mainly because they only played one or two seasons with us and where on the decline of their careers.
Seeing that Ben Wallace hasn't even played for the team yet I'll have to exclude him from my list. 5 - Bill Cartwright; Luc Longley 4 - Dennis Rodman; Horace Grant; Toni Kukoč 3 - Scottie Pippen; Bob Love; Andr?s Nocioni 2 - Michael Jordan; Ben Gordon; Jerry Sloan 1 - Kirk Hinrich; Norm Van Lier; John Paxson
Are you guys going by how they did in their career, like if they moved on to another team and did great, like Ron Artest.

C: Artis Gilmore/ Brad Miller/ Luc Longley PF: Dennis Rodman/ Elton Brand/ Horace Grant SF: Scottie Pippen/ Bob Love/ Ron Artest SG: Michael Jordan/ Ben Gordon/ Ron Harper (Earlier in his career) PG: Kirk Hinrich/ Norm Van Lier/ (Reggie Theus, Paxson, Sloan) Third string PG is hard. Theus is a scorer and can pass. Sloan is more of a 2 guard.. I would put Toni Kukoc, but have no idea where to put him. He doesn't get many boards, but he gets 5+ assists a game and can score. (With playing time)
C: Artis Gilmore | Brad Miller | Luc Longley PF: Dennis Rodman | Elton Brand | Horace Grant SF: Scottie Pippen | Bob Love | Ron Artest SG: Michael Jordan | Ben Gordon | Ron Harper PG: Kirk Hinrich | Norm Van Lier | John Paxson
Theres would be no chemistry on those squads. And with Artest on your team who knows what might happen. That's why the only team that you'd ever need would be that 72-10 squad.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TheFreshPrince:</div><div class="quote_post">Hinrich is not better than Harper. How is he not even on a list yet?</div> The Harper that played for the Bulls was nothing more than a role player. He was great during his days as a Clipper and he is one of my favorite all time players, but Hinrich > Harper from a Bulls point of view.
^^I know he was a role player here, but i dont think hinrich has passed him yet. He wasnt great or anything last year, but it looks like he is gonna be great this year.

He is far better than Harper ever was with the Bulls. His overall game far supersedes Harpers Hinrich is one of the leagues best defenders, shoots an incredible percentage from three, and has managed to quarterback this team to two straight playoff appearances. If where comparing them by what they accomplished as Bulls Hinrich is the man.
I am not sure about hinrich being among the leagues best defenders. He is solid all around, but harper gave you guys 3 titles (i think its 3?). Plus, i think harper still had plenty left in his tank when he went to chicago, but put his ego aside for a title. He helped the lakers to a few titles later on as well.

That's like saying Jon Salley was better during his time in Chicago then Nocioni because he won a title.
^^ im not saying that, harper did a phenominal job playing the triangle, and i'd pick him on d over hinrich as of now.
My All Time Bulls team: PG Sloan SG Jordan SF Pippen PF Love C Gilmore That's going by reputation. If i would only include players i actually saw playing as a Bulls: PG Hinrich SG Jordan SF Pippen PF Brand C Cartwright
Do you guys remember the All-Time Greatest Roster on ESPN? I went there and searched it up, if we forgot any players. They had Reggie Theus and Chet Walker that all of us don't have on our lists. Link: http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/featu...page=lineup/chi
If you look up the statistics Hinrich was top five in the league ion charges drawn, and received several votes for the NBA All defensive squad, nor only that but Hinrich’s team lead the league in opponents field goal percentage so you really can’t complain about his defense. Not taking anything away from Harper, but at the worst they are even at defense. Either way I would take Hinrich for what he has done so far for the Bulls over Hollywood for what he with the Bulls.
