Who do you think Miami should sign? I think Eddie House would be great, he gives us a good preimiter shooter and someone who can play the point and the 2 guard.

Riley said he doesn't want to use the MLE but I think splitting it with Zo and Eddie House would be as good as it gets with the remaining FAs.

He definitly brings a perimeter shooter to the Heat which they lacked. But hey apparently it wasn't that much of a weakness considering they won [IMG]

I'm happy that we're in serious talks with him, I used to love him when he played for us a while back. He'll be great for us, hes a great catch and shoot guy and hes pretty quick, I hope we get him.

Eddie House is useless. He's nothing but a chucker. Damon Jones>Eddie House. He's a catch and dash player. I rather see Wright and Payton get backup minutes at the guard.

Yes, Eddie House is somewhat of a chucker, but saying hes worse then Damon Jones is pushing it. Passing and rebounding they are similar but, House is way more of a scorer then Damon Jones. Eddie House takes some shots, but you can't tell me Damon does not, the only thing Damon has in his game is threes. Eddie House is alot quicker, he has a nice catch and shoot game and most importantly he can provide alot more energy for us then Damon can.

Back when Eddie House played for the Heat, he was the energy guy, that braught up the tempo and hit shots from anywhere. I know hes older now, but I saw him do similar things with Phoenix also.

Now Damon Jones on the other hand, he didn't impress me when he played for us, the only thing he provided was a three point shot. And yes we need some three point shooters but why not take House, he also has a nice three point shot, and he can provide other things for our team as well.

Damon Jones is a better shooter than Eddie House overall. Do you realize that House doesn't even look to pass? All he does is catch and shoot. If it's crowded and he actually realizes its a bad shot, he'll pass it. Jones doesn't chuck most of the time and knows when to shoot atleast.

Anyways the Jones thing is not relevant since we don't have him on our team. I rather see Wright and Payton play the backup minutes with Gansey getting the spare time.

You say he doesn't look to pass, but he averages practilly the same number of assist as Jones in less playing time.

But your right though, it doesn't really matter since Jones is no longer on our team [IMG] , lol but still my point is I just think House would be a nice addition. I'll be glad to have him back.

Honestly I think people overrate it at times. Every coach will tell you that they rather players work the ball around for high % shots rather than low % jumpshots.

Yes, he's a chucker, but he's pretty streaky and consistant. The best part, which this team is lacking cept for Wade and J-Will, is he plays off the ball and is real good at moving without it.

lol you say hes pretty streaky like it's a good thing. And no, he's far from consistent.
