Sorry, I didn't read the speculation part, but I still believe that Bosh is not ready yet to carry a team, which goes into my other part about G-Fs handling the ball the majority of the time. Because of that they can have a bigger impact on the game. Bosh, and most F-Cs, will always need a Guard to bring the ball up and get it to them in the half court set. A good example is of how Garnett never got passed the first round until Cassell and Sprewell joined the Wolves.

Now if you are somehow saying Guards have more upside, this is something different. In this debate, Bosh would also be playing with Shaq (or a dominant presence at center at all times if one takes Zo into account), so he doesn't have to carry the team all by himself. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> A good example is of how Garnett never got passed the first round until Cassell and Sprewell joined the Wolves.</div> Garnett plays in the West with a below average roster. Playoff history: <u>Year | Team | Record |Wolves' Record</u> 1997 | Houston Rockets | 57-25 | 40-42 1998 | Seattle Supersonics | 61-21 | 45-37 1999 | San Antonio Spurs | 37-13 | 25-25 2000 | Portland Trail Blazers | 59-23 | 50-32 2001 | San Antonio Spurs | 58-24 | 47-35 2002 | Dallas Mavericks | 57-25 | 50-32 2003 | Los Angeles Lakers | 50-32 | 51-31 So as you can see, they were never the favorite. And when they played the Lakers, one can see why they lost considering they weren't that much better record wise, had Shaq(who is better than him) and Kobe (in a semi-MVP season).
