Sorry, I didn't read the speculation part, but I still believe that Bosh is not ready yet to carry a team, which goes into my other part about G-Fs handling the ball the majority of the time. Because of that they can have a bigger impact on the game. Bosh, and most F-Cs, will always need a Guard to bring the ball up and get it to them in the half court set. A good example is of how Garnett never got passed the first round until Cassell and Sprewell joined the Wolves.

Now if you are somehow saying Guards have more upside, this is something different.
