    i don't know if im wrong, but i haven't seen one person retire yet this offseason only Fred Hoibreg and Jamal Mashburn in the mid-season last year i think but im talkin about this offseason

    What? I didn't know Hoiberg retired. Why?

    ^^Yup, he had some interest to return to playing, but i think him and his wife felt it was too dangerous. Especially how he had that complication after his surgery.

    A lot of the guys just retire and don't really announce it. Check Rodney Rogers or Glenn Robinson for an example. I've pretty much already assumed they retired since they didn't sign with anyone last season (they still would have been useful).

    yup, then after the surgery, he passed out waliking up a flight of stairs, and was bleeding quite a bit, so he and his family decided to call it quits

    No one has these big announcements anymore. The fact is there's no one exciting enough to garner that much attention anyway. I don't think any press would cover Ervin Johnson's retirement ceremony.

    i havent really heard of anyone retiring but usually if someone that is really known by alot of people then you should hear about it

    I pretty sure both retired. Christie retired about halfway into last season.
