    This has been floating around a few other mavs forums and was credited to a poster (who presumable has inside info) on the RealGM Milwaukee forums:

Simmons and Delfino will be going to Dallas, Gadzuric to Detroit, Stackhouse and Davis to Milwaukee. The only holdup is the level of protection the picks coming from Detriot and/or Dallas will have. Cash will also be included, to that I don't know where from or to whom.

    *If you're a Bucks fan you've read something by me. Bucks are sending the cash and will be getting a first round pick, along with a second round pick the year after.</div>

    If I reveal my source, I get fired. Simple as that. Like is said before, the hold up is the level of protection on the pickS coming to Milwaukee. In addition to that, a new problem has come up which is the health of Bobby Simmons.</div>

    ATL has expressed HUGE intrest in D.Harris, which in return would have an impact on this trade.

    If the original deal plays out accordingly, MIL will be getting an unprotected pick.</div>

    ATL is not in the MIL, DAL, DET deal, it is something else going on between ATL and DAL that could have an impact on the deal prior.
    </div>

    This is all comming from a poster from another forum so of course its all speculation as of now.

    Makes no sense for the Mavs unless Simmons comes off the bench. We already signed Buckner, Devean George and drafted Ager. Simmons and Delfino wont be getting any playing time here. I dont think Simmons can play SG either. If the Bucks really want Stackhouse, we could've given him for Magloire.

    Simmons seems like he would be a great pickup for the Mavs, but he would have to come off of the bench with Josh Howard being here. Buckner and Ager i figure will be playing the shooting guard, and George is just a decent role player. I'm thinking Simmons might be able to play some shooting guard, but I havent seen him play that much. However, he is a 26 year old player who seems pretty solid, and Stack is only getting older. I don't want to see Devin Harris go anywhere though.

    I think the Mavs will regret letting stack go...yeah he's a little older, but his veteran leadership and his clutch and overall good play are part of the reason why the mavs made it as far as they did.

    I agree, but while we can get good value for him, it might be wise to pull the trigger. Most of us didn't want to give Nash away for nothing, and that ended up nicely. As our rookies and young guys get more experience, they should be able to step up in crunch time and fill the void of Stack. The only real problem I see with the trade is that we really dont need another stud SF. We already have Josh Howard

    I read this in dallas-mavs.com, realgm.com and lonestarmavs and in each of them i thought about doing it. but now i realize that Stack not only gives us leadership and clutch shots he also gives us a flexibility in our line-up. The fact that he's willing to come off the bench is great, Simmons left the Clips to start so I dont see any reason for us doing this.

    Agreed. I do love Stack, but I think if we have a good deals being offered for him, we should look at them.
