Carson Palmer's Contract Extension

    Wow... His contract is extended to the year 2014 getting a pay higher than Peyton Manning! I think they are going in the Colts direction which they have spent all of their money on the offense and not the defense. What do you think, is this a good idea? I don't know, just because he broke the Bengals TD record and goes to the Pro Bowl this year and finally go to the playoffs since... means that he gets a contract extension. That just leaves me wondering, how will he play next year?

    Actually the Bengals defense has played nice this year and has a lot of youth much like the Colts.. Palmer's worth it though.. He's got a great career ahead of him in my opinion..

    Carson has finally shown just why he was a number one pick, Carson is my second favorite QB and a helluva QB at that! I can smell a future title in Cincinatti within the next few years.

    actually the reason that the Bengals reworked Palmers contract is because they wanted to free up cap space now, its actually helping the Bengals to spread all his money out and locking up Palmer for a long time. I mean why else would they rework someone's contract when there are still 3 years left in his currentone
