1. Mavs 8. Warriors Dirk took out Finley and Nash, so now it's Nellies turn 4. Rockets 5. Clippers Best series next season 3. Suns 6. Kings Suns sweep 2. Spurs 7. Lakers Spurs and Mavs collision course to the WCF.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting ryanfish:</div><div class="quote_post">Do you guys think Nellie joining the Warriors give them any chance of reaching the playoffs?</div> Definitely. This is a type of coach the Warriors needed to get somewhere, and Mike Montgomery wasn't their type of coach. You'll probably see Baron Davis having a comeback season this year working with Don Nelson and he's definitely going to make Jason Richardson an all-star player.

I know the northwest division sucks but I come on.
They took the division spots out already. And my opinion is NOBODY from that division is making the playoffs.

If the Rockets/Grizzlies/Hornets finish w/ a better record than the division leader from the Northwest, then we'll see one of these teams get jipped. This is based on the assumption that the Spurs and the Mavs contend for #1 in the West again. Hopefully that will summon the end of this 3 division b.s.

I've seen people have Rockets around 7-8. IMO, Rockets will get 4-5. Unless Tmac & Yao can stay healthy throughout the whole season and Yao plays monster as predicted.
1. Phoenix 2. Dallas 3. San Antonio 4. LA Clippers 5. NO/OKC Hornets 6. Sacramento Kings 7. Minnesota 8. LA Lakers Other than the top three, EVERYTHING is wide open. Seriously, any team in the Western Conference could make a run for the playoffs if they get hot like Seattle did two years ago. I picked Minnesota as a personal pick, but that could easily be Denver. Other than that, I'd keep everything as is. I would put Memphis in, but they will be too far behind by the time Gasol gets back 100%. And I'm not sold on Houston whatsoever. They haven't proved they can really put a season together with TMac and Yao at the helm. People are underestimating NO/OKC a little. They are deep. I know there are some question marks, but there are question markes everywhere. The talent is in place to do great things this year. The West will be crazy this year!

First one, they won 51 games, including one of the very top records in the league in the second half of the season. Second season, the team was decimated by injuries. Health is the most important factor for them ... if Yao and Tracy play at least 50+ games together, they should definitely make the playoffs.
1. Suns 2. Mavs 3. Spurs 4. Rockets 5. Hornets 6. Clippers 7. Kings 8. Warriors 9. Lakers 10. Nuggets 11. Jazz / Sonics 12. Sonics / Jazz 13. Grizzlies 14. T-wolves 15. Blazers i'd say something around that, guessing by team strength. (the west was way tougher than the east last season so i'm expecting that again)

If the Rockets make the playoffs that will just be astonishing. Hell if they have more wins than the Blazers I will be surprised. Here is my list: 1) Phoenix 2) Dallas 3) San Antonio 4) Sacramento 5) Houston 6) LAC 7) Denver 8) Minny/LAL Book it.

1. Dallas 2. San Antonio 3. Phoenix 4. Houston 5. Clippers 6. Lakers 7. Denver 8. Hornets What do you guys think about that?
Seeing as how three of your top four are in the same division, it's impossible. Denver needs to be number four to make that at all possible. Other than that, I still don't think the Rockets will be that good. Someone(s) on that team will likely miss a lot of time, and it'll probably be TMac. If that happens, they're in a lot of trouble. If they don't stay healthy, they don't win. They don't really have a deep bench, and losing TMac would hurt more than anything, especially if you note their winning percentage without him from last year.
