Ok, I do things a lil different when I crop from what others usually do. I always hear people having problems with it when I actually feel that it's pretty easy. Now, I'm not too sure if you will have difficultty in the beginning or not when cropping lie this because I've been doing it like this forever but give it a shot. Here it goes.... Original Pic made smaller for sig usage (walls need the whole player crop the majority of the time): ________________________________________ Step 1: With the pic open, take the regular generic round brush (100% opacity) with a color that is somewhat dark that is no where near any of the colors on the player and start brushing all around the player. (if you use a light color is will show up on the outline of the cropped player when placing him in the graphic) Note: You may need to re-size the picture for your needs Step 2: Now the hard so called hard part is finished. Take the Magic Wand Tool and click on the Green part, then right click and click Select Inverse. Step 3: With the Inverse selected we need to copy the picture to place it in the graphic. The easiest way to do this is to hit CTRL + C. Step 4: Paste the picture into the graphic by hitting CTRL + V. Note: Sometimes you may see a tiny bit of jaggedness in the cropped but there an easy fix. Just take the eraser and start smoothing out the picture once it's in the graphic. Hope this works better than your current way of cropping. It seriously only takes anywhere from 5-10 minutes. :king:
Yeah man, I tried the extract tool this morning and my index finger felt like it was gonna fall off. lol
lol. I use the smart extract. That really helps. Your method works well for some images and I've used it before. Just depends on the size for me.

Ah I read it wrong, but I do use a similar method. I use the picture as layer1 and make the background a bright totally different color, then i erase around layer1. It's easier than having a white background.
haha aite... but do you know if there is a place i can get one? maybe you can give it to me on AIM or something? hahaha
