was on this website: http://marriage.about.com/cs/celebritymarr.../kobebryant.htm and came across: -Kobe and Vanessa do not have a prenuptial agreement. Anyone find that really surprising?
I find it highly intelligent on Kobe's part. I'm getting a prenup before I get married or not getting married at all. I've seen too many of my family members screw/get screwed by other people taking a bunch of their sh** after a divorce.

With Kobe's knowledge and class, I'm suprised he married that early and against his parents approval.

the MOST surprising thing is that she didn't divorce him after the whole eagle, colorado incident. perfect excuse, perfect timing, would've netted her a whole crapload of money. maybe he spends all his money on her anyway so she thought it wouldn't be any different? lol

Honestly, guys make mistakes, I know soooo many guys (married or not) that cheat on their women, and it's not that they don't love them, sometime it's just for the sex, not saying that it's right. But to me that does not change the way he acts with his wife or kids, etc. I honestly think he's a good dude. I think she genuinely loves him because like you said she could have got her share and split when that whole thing went down and no one would have called her a gold digger, OR it might have been because she didn't want her little girl to worry about her parents being divorced, but then again she was really little, who knows.
A lot of NBA ballers cheat on their wives, I really don't care. I am skeptical if they really love each other, I'd say it's more of a convenient thing to stay together (for their children and such). Kobe also should have gotten a pre-nup, but I guess he was naive at the time, or some hopeless romantic. As long as he keeps producing on the court, that's all that matters.

He literally stopped talking to Kobe for a long while.

You should really just be happy for you kid, even if the person they marry isn't ideal to you. I'm happy my parents aren't like this and I'm glad they love my girlfriend to death.

I don't believe that Kobe's dad disowned him or whatever because she was a Latino. I mean c'mon he had kobe grow up in Italy and had him learn like 4 or 5 languages, I doubt that he's prejudice towards another race. But I bet Kobe not having a pre-nup was the reason. But whatever it's all over with Kobe and his wife are moving on with their second child and I attended the L.A. Sparks game where Kobe and his daughter greeted Joe "Jellybean" on the court, after the game"
