In this thread, you answer the "what if question or statement" post before yours and then supply your own. Simple?

What if the Sixers drafted Marcus Williams instead of Rodney Carney?

Then the Allen Iverson will move over to the shooting guard position, and Marcus Williams will take some pressure away from AI. But, we will be missing all the highlight dunks by Carney and Iggy this season.

What if the Sixers never traded for Chris Webber?

The 76ers would likely still be a mediocre to down right horrible team, and AI would have requested a trade. AI was even quoted as saying if the 76ers had not done the Webber deal he doesn’t know what he would have done. Of course this was at the time of the trade, wonder if he still feels that way? Anyway, he and Kenny Thomas were having a falling out Thomas had been critical of AI dominating the ball.

What if the 76ers kept Larry Hughes, Jerry Stackhouse, or Theo Ratliff?

Then Iverson would be gone because the reason Stackhouse and Hughes left was because they wanted the ball more and to score more. In Ratliff's case, it would mean we never would have made it to the 00-01 Finals because Mutombo was a big part in taking us there.

What if we never signed Dalembert to that ridiculous contract?

Some other team would've given him a some what similar comtract and their fans would be putting up with his stupidity instead of us.

What if we the Raptors took Iguodala with the 8th pick in 2004?

Then we could have taken someone else, like Josh Smith or Kevin Martin.

What if Iverson goes down in an injury for a long period of time this season ala 03-04?

then the sixers are lottery bound AGAIN, and the season will be devoted to the progression of loius williams, and igoudala.

What if Korver, Igoudala, and Dalembert step it up this year and show that they really want to be in the playoffs, and have career years?

    Then hello playoffs!

What if Ben Wallace actually wanted to be a Sixer?

Then nothing would of happened because Billy King is our GM.

What if Willie Green hadn't been injured for so long last season?

dang it brian, we probably would've been better, nad he may have provne his worth as a solid backup

what if we never would have made the finals? (how would it affect iverson's image, career, and the organization)

^^Then Billy King wouldn't dish out all those huge contracts and we would actually have cap room right now.

What if we beat the Lakers in the finals?

[IMG] That would have been impossible. But let's just say if the Sixers pulled off a huge upset. Then we would probably be in even bigger cap problems because Billy King would go around trying to resign everyone to long term deals.

What if the Sixers don't make the playoffs this season. What will happen to AI, Webber, and Mo Cheeks?

All of them will be gone except webber, i think we will keep him for one more year, then lose i=his contract, and go into massive rebuilding mode.

What if Iverson gets traded to minny before the season.

then we get good players and start to rebuild
and the t-wolves go deep in the playoffs or even win it

what if iverson and webber work together and become a fearsome duo.

Then the Sixers would become one of the best teams in the Eastern Confrence, and they will become much better if the supporting cast gets involved.

What of Webber gets injured for the whole season?

Well then we can pretty much throw the season away. Iverson would probably be frustrated and demand a trade. At that point Webber would opt out of his contract and sign for less to be with a winner.

What if Billy King actually spent money this off-season?

If Billy King spent money this offseason, the Sixers would end up with another aged superstar or some ineffective mediocre players. This is Billy King people. Regarded by many as the worst GM in sports history.

What if Louis Williams turns out to be a better point guard than AI?

What if? I don't know, all I know is that if Louis Williams turns into a better point guard than AI, Billy King better get fired because I sure as hell don't want to see Louis William's career get ruined. Maybe we can hire Allen Iverson as our GM? [IMG]

What if Chris Webber never had that big knee injury

He probably would have won the series against the lakers and still be a king...

what if every thing goes wrong for philly this year and they have a terrible season, landing the number 1 pick in the draft?

I don't wanna think about that but if that happens..then say hello to Greg Oden.

What if the Sixers had picked Josh Smith, instead of Iguodala?
