I don't think he would have the same impact as Kidd though. It will really suck if Kidd retires without a championship. What if Adams fails the physical?
If Adams fails his physical I guess he wouldn't be able to play.. But, when he played in Arizona he looks like he's in pretty good shape. What if Richard Jefferson was traded?
Then we probably would end up with Kevin Garnett. What if Vince Carter gets injured for the whole season?
Then Jefferson would average 26+ point per game. What if Mile Illic turns into a monster shot blocker in the NBA?
Then Jason Kidd is hurt, cause there's no way he plays enough minutes to be that productive with Kidd around. What if Nenad Krstic gets hurt?
Jason Kidd would be injured before or while the season so Williams starts at PG. What if the Nets never traded Kenyon Martin?
Nets would have to trade for a big guy, or Ilic would come in and be really good, which might not happen because his rookie season. What if Kenyon Martin was never traded?
Then the Nets would not have gone as far as they did in the playoffs the year he was let go and Kidd and Scott would have gotten in to a fist fight by now. What if the Nets trade Collins, McInnis, and Illic (rights to) to the Hawks for Harrington?
Then we'd have the worst post defense in the NBA. Collins would be too big of a loss. What if Alonzo didn't have to go through surgery again back in 03?
