Dooling would be interchangable at SG and PG. I dont think we need to trade him just yet, he is a huge spark of the bench. Plus we need his speed and quickness on D now that Stevenson is gone.
i think dooling is better than arroyo i remember dooling was a great spark off the bench for miami, you guys should use him in a similar way. I dont know much bout arroyo's game, but from what i heard its not anything to get excited about
Dooling is a combo guard and a poor man's Steve Francis. He's not the type of player you'd want as a back-up point guard running your offence, he's more like a spark off the bench than someone who can fill in for Jameer's point guard duties. Arroyo is a proven point guard (he started for Utah and wasn't half bad) and he's not that bad of a scorer himself. I say that if the Magic can get a good scrappy defender that isn't a liability on offence, then go for it.

If we get a good enough offer for Dooling, I'm all up for trading him. I would prefer to keep him, because he is energy off of the bench and has some pretty big games, but we don't really have much use for him.

Doolings no where near Francis' level when he (Francis) decides to play.
True, but their playing styles are the same and that's the only thing I'm really comparing. I doubt Francis will ever reach the level he was at earlier in his career. Marbury needs the ball a whole lot to and needs to be let loose to do whatever he wants to be an effective player statiscally, and that's the same with Francis.
I think they will move one of them, probly Francis because he doesn't seem very happy in New York and he's easier to move than Marbury. Francis can be a good as he wants to be but when things aren't going his way he defers to much and that takes him out of his game. (IMO)
I would take a good defensive player at any position except for the point. I wouldn't mind getting a bigger center (somone young)
