I'm gonna be the leader of a not-too-serious basketball team, which will consist of me, three buddies and some guys one year younger than us. I played in a similar team last season, and although I had a blast we just lost too many games. I think this season will be different. We will have one practise a week and a game almost every weekend. Damn I'm happy and hyped!
Well, as the leader, I will play any position I want . Seriously though, I will probably play guard at times, and at the post at times. It it likely that I will be the second or third tallest guy at the team, and we will have some short guys, but at 6'0 and pretty muscular, I can play both guard and center/power forward. Last season, I was usually the point guard, so I initiated the play, and then worked my way down to the post. I know it sounds a bit like bragging, but I think I am pretty quick compared to my competition, so I can often score at will. Note the "compared to my competition" part, since I am only playing in the third division of men born 82-88, me and my teammates being 88 or 89ers.
