<font color=""darkorchid"">The Lakers want Al on a four year deal in 7-8 million dollar ball park with a fifth year option, but if Al was willing to accept that deal he?d be a Pacer. However, Harrington is more likely willing to accept the Lakers offer. All this seemingly makes the Lakers the most logical choice at this point, as Al could make up at least some of the money per year he?s missing out in endorsement deals in LA, and they have the most attractive pieces for Atlanta to take in. But in a situation like this that has had so many twists and turns, there?s just no telling what is going to happen anymore. Harrington certainly is a very nice piece that would likely put the Lakers into division title contention. He?d bring 2nd option scoring and the ability to play the 3/4, opening things up to experiment with Lamar Odom at the point guard position. The acquisition of Harrington would cap off a Lakers off season in which they?ve added a considerable amount of scoring to their team, easing the load on the shoulders of Kobe Bryant. </font>
