Is he an option for you guys in terms of a trade? Obviously he's not thrilled to be in Memphis, and they will want to trade him. He makes between $5.4 - $6 million for the next 3 seasons, so he doesn't make too much, and his contract isn't long. I was looking at your roster, and obviously it depends on what Memphis wants, but McInnis is an expiring $3.6 million, and Nachbar has $2.5 million for 2 more years, those could be options. Stromile isn't anything amazing, but his finishing ability, and his shot blocking could help the Nets. His rebounding is average, definately not spectacular, but he's better than the current Nets bigs. Just wondering how you guys feel about him.

If the Nets could work out a deal for expiring contracts to aquire Swift, I'd jump on it. He probably will never come close to fulfilling his expectations as a rookie, but I could see him being a poor man's K-Mart for the Nets, if not more.
I really think that he will be a good fit for the Nets. If Memphis is willing to take McInnis and Nachbar off our hands, then I will be happy to trade for Swift. Of course I think Memphis will want more than that, which I think the Nets don't want to do. Their roster is complete but if they would take McInnis and Nachbar, then one last move shouldn't hurt.
He would be perfect in NJ with a PG like Kidd and the best combo of wing players in the league. Those highlights will be incredible this year.
He would be a good fit with the Nets but I think that Josh Boone won't take long to become as good as Swift and not long after that he'll be much better because he's not nearly as dumb.
