<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">A half hour before Wednesday's marathon public hearing on the new Nets' arena and surrounding mini-city, Bruce Ratner brought out his biggest guns: Jason Kidd and Vince Carter. They were the headliners among proponents of the project. Both said they looked forward to playing in the arena. Kidd noted he will be 36 in 2009, when it's scheduled to open...and that John Stockton played til he was 41. Carter noted it would enhance the Nets rivalry with the Knicks. </div>

I'm happy to know that I will get to see Kidd play for Brooklyn. And if Carter is looking forward to playing in the arena, that might be some good indication that he wants to stay with the Nets.

Moving to Brooklyn would make you happy NbaBaller? You're so lucky you live in Brooklyn.

I'm still a little confused on where exactly the arena will be built. If the place that I'm thinking is the area where the Nets will play, then the trip from my house to the arena is about 15-20 mins on the train.[IMG]

Of course they'd say they're looking forward to playing there. If they had said otherwise, it would have incited that they were planning to play elsewhere when the relocation was finished. Who knows how they actually feel. It's going to be crazy when the two meet for playoff games in the future. A subway series?

Add another 20-25 minutes to your MSG time (assuming you do not get stuck in traffic).
