<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">SAPPORO, Japan -- Chris Bosh took out his displeasure about a lack of playing time at the FIBA world championship by leading Team USA with 20 points and 10 rebounds in a 103-58 rout over Senegal yesterday. The Raptors forward had averaged just nine minutes of play per game in USA's previous four victories. After yesterday's game, Bosh told ESPN's Chris Sheridan that had he known he would have been mostly a forgotten bench player at the tournament, he may not have been as quick to join the squad. "That's a good question ... I'm not sure," Bosh told Sheridan. "I can't say that I would, but I don't think anyone would have told me that." Bosh also told Sheridan that he wants to make it very difficult for USA coach Mike Krzyzewski to keep him off the floor in the next round of play. </div> http://www.torontosun.com/Sports/Basketbal...775386-sun.html Despite the standard, Toronto Sun exaggerated headline, it doesn't seem to be as big a deal as I would have thought. One quote, in particular, caught my attention: <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Chris Bosh:</div><div class="quote_post">"We're going to practice for two days, and I'm going to put myself in a position where I'm going to do good and it's going to be hard not to play me," Bosh said. </div> It's good to see that kind of attitude. I also think he has to kind of scale back his expectations a little. He may have been an All-Star this year, but he's not at the stage where he should be expecting anything.
having a decent game against australia (sp?) so far, (lol game came back on so i thought id post then complete it during next commercial) he isnt scoring much but hes grabbing boards and playing great d on bogut who was killing us in the begining of the game
Garbajosa should feel frustrated. He's 0 for 13 in both elimination games. Meanwhile he is like the 5th best player on spains roster behind: (1) P. Gasol, (2) J. Navarro, (3) J. Calderon, (4) R. Fernandez
If anyone should be frustrated, it should be Uros Slokar. He's one of the more talented players on that Slovenian team, but has gotten ridiculously inconsistent minutes. Not that it matters now, because they're eliminated, but he had shown that he could produce when given a reasonable amount of playing time and the coach rewarded it by giving him no time at all in the final game.

Thats why he had the DNP for the game against Turkey. But yeh he impressed me during that during the tournament. He showed a lot of potential especially during the game against china.
