Kenny Anderson had a respectable career in the NBA. I think he can still be good for 10 - 15 minutes off the bench, if he can accept that role. Anderson is a flashy player who wants the ball in his hands, I don't think there's a team who will be willing to take the gamble on him in that kind of a situation. Realistically, if he does come back, he will be a back up point with minimum salary.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting kobe24girl:</div><div class="quote_post">That's why I said unless he wants to "be a very small contributor to a team". I'm not saying that he can't come back at all, but to me it sounds like he wants to be a starter and be depended on. I don't know maybe it's just me. And if that is so, I know that there are a lot of good guards overseas, but can you really compare them to steve nash, j.kidd, cp3, tony parker, j. williams, and other good pgs. that he will have to face each and every night.

Now, once again I do think that he can be a small contributor or back-up, And he had a very successful career, but there is a reason why he is not overwhelmed with invitations from NBA teams.</div>This is where I think you're wrong. I think, at this stage of his career and being out of the NBA for a year, I think he realizes he won't start. I just think he wants to retire on his own terms, even if it's with a team he's not going to play a lot on, he just wants a chance.

I hope the Raps invite him to training camp and then make him as the last man cut. Bastard.

Okay, well I think that's alright. Like I said, maybe it was just me but I thought it sounded like he wanted a starting job right away. But I think it's cool if he wants to come back (like BRIAN agreed) and be a mentor like darrell armstrong in DAL or even a couple of mins. guy like g.p. in MIA!! That's all I'm saying gosh [IMG] lol naw I'm j/p but do you get me now??

Plus, if he accept the role that I', talking about he would be better than arron mckie with the lakers last yr. [IMG]

I know that is a wierd way to say it but I get it now too [IMG] He wants to make sure that he is unable to help a team, before he calls it quits. Right??

I would like him to come back. He was a good playmaker. But, I don't think he will make that big of a factor just coming back. But, we will have to wait and see what he does.
