Found this in a poster thread at Animenation, I found it very funny, espeically when Iverson's infamous "Practice" rant comes to mind.

Didn't he wear 6 to honor Dr J or something.

    Anyway, haha, that's pretty funny.

Iverson's head must have been cut off and put into the picture in place of whoever the hell number six was.

That was in the All-Star game a couple years back. Iverson wore 6 that night to honor Dr J.

To be honest with you, I think they are talking about Kobe in the poster, not Iverson

That's ashamed too. You shouldn't mention Dr. J and Iverson in the same sentence...

^^Why not, iverson has had a very very good career. Dr. J has had a better one, but not by that much accomplishment wise.

Dr. J has a ring. A championship ring. Dr. J had a better career, as you mentioned. I don't see how Iverson accomplished more.

Robert Horry has 6 rings. So I guess that makes him better than Dr. J right?

i didnt say he accomplished more...

i said that Dr. J isnt very far ahead of him. Does Dr. J have as many scoring titles? does Dr. J have as many all star mvp's? does Dr. J have as many Mvp's? (i think he may have more if you count the aba) They are very close, but i give dr. j the edge, but not any where close to when they cant be mentioned in the same sentence.

That's a stupid argument, and you know it. Both Erving and Iverson were the focal point of their teams, so counting rings is a valid argument.

Chutney, C.K was comparing about the rings so Diesel said that. It doesnt matter about the rings. just because Horry has more rings than Shaq doesnt make him better. And no one can say that Erving had a better career than AI, because Iverson's career aint over. SO you cant tell who will have better career.

Why do you say that? Jabs about "Practice?" are always directed at Iverson.

I was watching the clip on youtube last week or so, and it's gotta be the most hilarious thing ever.

Yea, I know. I got his point. But it still doesn't make sense. Horry was a role player that was always in the right place at the right time. Dr. J and Iverson were the foundation of their respective teams, and the success of their teams depended a lot on their play. Therefore counting championships is a valid argument (if looked at reasonably). And obviously we can't say for sure how Iverson ends his career, but at this point Erving is still better than Iverson, if you were to reasonably project the rest of their careers.

When Dr. J won his NBA Championship he wasn't the focal point of the team either. I think we can agree that title belongs to leading scorer, Regular Season MVP, and Finals MVP Moses Malone.

I'm sure if you put a player of Moses Malones caliber next to AI he'd be contending/winning a championship too. Having a 24/15 player is great to have.

Iverson hasn't had the greatest of supporting cast around him and it's shown because we needed Allen to get 30+ PPG in 01 on our Finals Run. Never was Dr. J required to score 30+ PPG for his team to have a chance at victory. In their time with Philadelphia I'd take AI over Dr. J, but if we're judging by careers I'll go with Dr. J.
