I"m surprised they have Dwight as #2. I figured he'd be 4th or 5th, but it's great to see him start to get some great recognition being among the top players in the league. This USA basketball trip has really helped him out greatly.

I am shocked though that Dwight is a C and Bosh is a PF. You would think they would be switched.

how are you shocked? bosh is small, skinny, and not aggressive in any way (although he does grab boards).

Is dwight expected to start and finish the season at C?

Bosh is too skinny and weak to play C. Dwight has a big build and is strong enough to be one, so I'm not sure why your surprised.

Riley is gonna make a move for Howard when his contract is up.
Great kid. the only true center besides shaq in the league.
If your staff is smart he'll be center and darko will be forward.

Yao is just a tall basketball player. Yao doesnt have the mind of a true center. Hes just a tall basketball player. Yao prefers to shoot while a true center loves to bang. yao was a small forward in his previous life.

Darko is center and Dwight is PF. Also doesn't Bosh play C for the Raptors though? I always thought they started playing him there.

Hakeem Olajuwon, Patrick Ewing, and David Robinson all took more jumpers than Yao. I suppose they're not true centers?

I'd have him at 3rd personally, behind Yao and Shaq. I like his overall game more than Amare's because he's a great defensive player and great rebounder as well. Amare is not great on defense yet and still working on the rebounding. Plus, we're not sure how good Amare will be this season on that knee of his. And what is the definition of a true center? I'm just curious about that. To me, Yao is a true center. He may take a lot of jumpers, but he's in the post a lot, getting mostly high percentage shots. It's not his fault his range extends to about 18' or so and it allows him to extend the defense and make life easier on teammates.

It's great to see Dwight getting some respect and I think he is going to have a breakout season next year. He is one of the league's best rebounders and his offensive game will only improve since he will be our number one option. I'm really looking forward to watching Howard for years to come and I'm so happy we went him over Emeka.

I think he's in for a breakout season too... i think all the magic fans agree that the NBA will soon see what we've seen for the last 2 seasons...

swish, dwight isn't one of the best rebounders... he is the BEST rebounder in the NBA.

its easy to just say that yao is better, but how about one of you sack-riders explain why and how he is better than dwight...

I think what he ment was that Yao is softer than most true centers... Probably because of his upbringing in China.

I actually remember hearing that he never use to dunk the ball, the people in China took it offensive or something.

And IMO, Yao is a center by default. He's so massive that he belongs down low in the post to grab rebounds and such. Ideally, he would be a perfect PF. He reminds me of a massive version of Dirk. (He's capable of developing a much stronger outside game)

I agree. Dwight is the future of the bigman. I'd take him over Yao any day of the week.

Boy was I wrong when I thought the Magic should've picked Emeka over Dwight in 05. [IMG]

    Lol me too.

Also Dwight isn't the best rebounder in the league, at the very least he needs to learn how to box out effectively to be considered a great one.
