I don't mind this change, Cool thing though I bought 3 authentic Kobe number 8 jerseys for 40 bucks each. 120 for 3 authentic. Away, Alt, and Yellow. I'm happy I think every Laker fan should buy a 8 jersey if you dont have one. Its due to be on clearance. Just a piece of history.

I heard Kobe saying in a post-game interview..24 is one better then 23 and smile. I think this was a after a playoff game. Did anybody see this or am I just hallucinating ?

I think Kobe wants to stay one up on LeBron James. LeBron and Kobe have drawn comparisons to both MJ so..........the 24/7 thing with Lamar Odom is pretty cool even though I have heard rumors of Odom being traded and what not.
Kobe wants to follow the path of MJ, so he decided to change his jersey number in the middle of his career.......that's what it is.
